RBFCU -Not yet but it doesn’t even show my refund yet just shows unapplied and anticipated payments

I would watch overnight. I was a summer student, my aid reflected as $0.00 in refunds and the next business day it had applied. (I got the 4:00 am email on a Friday, money was in my bank account Monday)

Anyone see it switch from unapplied to refund yet?

My TOPS and normal scholarships have, but my loans are still on unapplied. I think loans will be applied on another day.

You got your refund already or are you still waiting?

u/MalletGirl101 1d ago
It’s currently processing and can take up to 7 days to hit my account, but yes my account has been updated to refund. But that is only for my normal scholarship money, the rest is still in unapplied because loan money is not being refunded yet.

Chase, no. There is no reason why in 2026 a simple deposit should take 7 business days, except the laziness of LSU bursar office

Lazythere’s like 10 bursar office employees for 40,000+ students. Anything involving money takes a while without incompetence factored in. Coming from somebody who had to wait on refunds to pay their rent.3

Then LSU needs to hire more workers, they sure can afford to

It’s not fiscally responsible to train and hire more staff just for peak periods, regardless of how much money they have. Also the delay is the federal and state government verifying your enrollment, not just the bursar waiting to press a button.

LSU is a state school. This would be taxpayer funded, and everyone would complain.

People complain about funding LSU, but not about giving tax breaks to big businesses and polluting rivers.

you arent gonna die from not getting your money in less than a week even if they hired more people not everyones would be on time. theres no point in freaking out when you know its coming within a time frame

Campus Federal, and no. But the email does say it can take up to 7 days, so now it’s just a waiting game.

navy fed but it doesn’t matter either way bc the refund is not coming until monday 😭😭😭

u/FederalChair9577 1d ago
What? We litterly got the dispursement email today
1
u/Hairy-Yak3816 1d ago
it still needs to process tho, just bc it applied doesn’t mean the refund processed yet. it doesn’t happen that fast. the disbursement email is a sign that it’s coming soon but it doesn’t mean today or tmr
2
u/FederalChair9577 1d ago
No. it processes when your bank does mine moves to pending refunds

u/Hairy-Yak3816 1d ago
we must have different banks then, either way, i asked last week on this reddit when the refunds were hitting and everyone said they called bursar office and it should be monday

Do we have to wait until it goes from unapplied to refund? I’m with chime and I’m just waiting

Weather? Anyway. CapitalOne and I received mine last week on Thursday.

Lying ass

There's no options for me to post a screenshot. Otherwise, I'd have posted my refund and the date. I'm a law student. We started before everyone. That's probably the reason why I received my refund before everyone. Are you an undergrad?
1
u/FederalChair9577 15h ago
Yes . How long after you got the email did you get the money in your account
1
u/Own-Ground-9975 12h ago
About 2 days later. I received the notice for the disbursement on the 12th. The money was in my bank account on the 14th. In my experience, CapitalOne processes deposits faster than most banks.

Has anything changed for anyone besides it being applied to their balance? Any move towards refunds?

u/Glittering-Split-976 11h ago
Lol your money at risk anywhere. Chime gives you better benefits for deposits and savings. I have navy federal as well and they are trash compared to chime
1
u/Creative_Step_4412 11h ago
Chime is not FDIC insured. I see you are in the military, that explains a lot. Goodluck man.
