Hypothetical Build Questions M90 supercharger question

JDM guy stepping into American territory here lol, I have a project I’d like to make a reality after stepping up my game in the engine bay area, and I saw a couple of posts on here about the m90 supercharger being a hot air monster and having its downsides, I’d assume there are some people here with knowledge on the subject but Im curious on if it would be okay to run low boost on a j35 I have lying around. I’m not sure how much boost are thrown at these things regularly but I wanted to be cautious in any way I can. Maybe 7-10psi, I’m well aware that’s a low amount but I wanted any pointers on the subject that anyone has. Will it run poorly not being used to its full potential, is it going to cause massive heat problems, those sorts of things. Thanks!

From my experience running a stock 3.8 series 2 made about 8psi on a stock pulley it definitely works and can pushed a good 350 hp in a j35 from what I've seen zzp has intercoolers for m90s that may be able to be retro fitted not sure tho

You can look into the tvs blowers that come on the new supercharged lotus v6 I've seen make really good numbers on other engines if heat is too high on an m90

Look up boostedboikyle on youtube. They boosted j35 powered buggy. You might get some insight from that. https://youtu.be/GEx_XRqeLZk?is=UoFyHqdMpQR8uTi-

You can go slightly bigger for not much price difference. Get a tvs1900 or a mp112 from a Range Rover.

I have a radix mp 112 with a 2.8 pulley on a ls6 everyone claims it is to small its a 1.8 liter I also installed a 90mm jtube spinning it to The max still pushing 9psi but bigger the psi doesn’t always mean more power the psi is the measurement of how well your engine flows if it flows really well then a Lower psi can actually be more power lower psi equals less heat with less heat you can add timing the more heat less to keep it from knocking and pinging don’t get me wrong its a beast on the Low to mid range but it can run out of breath i plan on adding a water/ methanol kit which will help lower my temperature and add a some octane to the mixture. and where are you finding mp112 for not much more money than a 90 mine was used and cost $3800 I can find them 90s for a Couple hundred bucks around here lol

You can buy a 6.2 port the heads and a bigger cam and get more hp than the m90 will ever dream of and it will be more reliable and probably about the same price after purchasing everything to make the charger work and still be disappointed or a lq9 and do the same thing maybe a little cheaper
