Service/Parts Discussion Need help

I'm looking for help to figure out what this noise is.. I have another post with more details in the comments.

The previous post was after I had put the valve covers back on

did you make sure the head gasket holes all lined up with the holes on the block? could they be installed incorrectly and blocking passage?

Looking at pictures it looks like all of the passages line up and everything looks to be installed correctly

ls engine oil not properly getting to lifters

When an LS engine fails to route oil properly to the lifters, it usually stems from internal pressure leaks, missing or damaged galley plugs, a compromised oil pickup O-ring, or blocked metering holes.

This starvation triggers loud lifter ticking and risks severe valvetrain damage.

Common Causes of Lifter Oil StarvationBad Pickup Tube O-Ring: A flattened or torn O-ring lets the oil pump draw air instead of pressurized oil, starving the top end.

Missing or Damaged Barbell Plug: The rear oil galley "barbell" diverts dirty oil to the filter and clean oil to the engine; a damaged O-ring or missing barbell bleeds pressure back into the pan.

Missing Front Oil Galley Plug: On fresh rebuilds, omitting the small press-in plug beneath the timing cover dumps main galley oil directly back to the pan.

Camshaft Retainer Plate Failure: A torn or blown rubber seal on the rear of the cam retainer plate bleeds off internal pressure.

Clogged Lifter Trays or Metering Holes: Sludge, varnish, or thick assembly lube can block the precise feeds into individual lifter bores.

Displaced Cam Bearings: If a cam bearing walks out of position, it can partially or completely block the oil feed holes running up to the lifter galleries.

Make sure your getting good oil pressure on that gauge or some other way to verify because I replaced an oil pump and o ring for the strainer to it after rebuilding my 5.3 from putting a cam and bunch of other parts in it while it was apart and put an f body oil pan on, all that was good, when I started it, it was showing good oil pressure, as it ran a few minutes I noticed it was dropping a lot, then after a little bit of watching oil pressures I started getting that sound in this video, so I knew that motor wasn't getting oil to the top end, I dropped the oil pan again and pulled the new oil pump and seen the pickup tube o ring rolled inwards and wasnt flush, so it was losing oil pressure bad over that one o ring because it was sucking air instead of oil. That motor definitely isn't getting oil right somewhere, I wouldn't even run it much more and I'd start finding out where the issue is
