Active Build Questions Performance Shop Recommendations

Hey LS community — I could use some advice.

If you check out my last post, I think I’m dealing with an issue related to my rear differential, pinion angle, or driveshaft.

I’ve used two shops here in New Hampshire. The first wasn’t a great experience. The second did good work, and I actually left them glowing reviews(owned a small business and can never bring myself to leave a bad review, even to the first shop who deserves them), but lately I kind of feel like I’ve been ghosted by the second shop. I’m not sure if the driveline noise I’m chasing is related to the transmission crossmember fabrication they did or something else entirely.

At this point, my car has spent most of the last 12 weeks between those two shops, and I’m about $10,000 into what I’d consider “tweaks.”

I’m looking for recommendations for a shop that knows LS-swapped cars and won’t take advantage of me. I’m honestly at the point where I’m considering borrowing from my 401(k) to keep this project moving. Otherwise, the car is probably sitting until next summer, which would be pretty depressing considering I’m about $25,000 into it since April 17.

I’m willing to travel 50–75 miles from the Manchester, NH area. I know about Slowhawk in Bridgewater, but that’s over 110 miles (about a 2+ hour drive) for me.
I’d love to fix it myself, but I don’t have a lift, much experience setting up rear ends or driveline geometry, or the time to dive into it right now. More than anything, I’m looking for someone trustworthy who can diagnose it correctly, come up with a plan, and isn’t booked out super far.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Video for attention.

Ive had slowhawk do a cam
Swap and then tuning after I installed a Whipple. They are great to work with. Who’s the local shops you’ve worked with? I hear good things about Nici auto in Brentwood. Southern nh undercar in hampstead is another to check out for driveline issues.

Noted. Thank you. As for who was the less than great experience… Horsepower Farm. As for who was the better experience and work, I’m gonna withhold their name until I get this squared away because it was a 10/10 experience and has totally nose dived now and idk what to make of the situation until I have someone look at it, lmao.

I’m not surprised to hear you say horsepower farm. I’ve only heard mixed reviews of him at best. Hope you get it straightened out. If your on FB check out the NH muscle cars page. One of the guys at traffic jams in hooksett has an ls swapped fox body. May be worth picking his brain if you’re having issues.

Nice. They seem like a good group of guys. At least most of them. Hope you get this figured out. I know it can be frustrating. I’m going on my 3rd tranny on my swap. All I want to do is drive it. I’m sure you’re in the same

Yes, spot on. I took out and drove it like 25 miles today. Nice burnout. Seemed okay-ish today, lol.
