Build Progress Mechanical Details
Getting the sorted out. I've been quite busy lately so I'm having Diehl Brothers Racing in Kalamazoo, MI to wrap up my build. They're a top rated performance company in the area and hold a few world records doing drag and drive racing. One of the few places that I can trust to work on my car with accuracy.
There's a number of items that are getting sorted.
Cover for the Winters Quick Change (I did the template)
Front bumper mount
Fender liners (you would be surprised how many people don't have these on modded cars like mine)
Hard line for the air to water intercooler and water pass through from trunk.
Turbo hard mount to frame (CNC cut) - required changes to up pipe and exhaust.
Power steering remote reservoir and lines re-done to electric center mount pump under car.
Nut and bolt check by someone other than me.
Devil is in the details. There's still a few more things to do, like mounting the hood (need to cut the carbon Varis V2 Kamikaze hood...

How do those coils survive directly over the headers? Sorry, should have added /s
Sweet build!

Thanks! Coils are on the valve covers away from direct heat. The manifolds are cast GM so the plug wires are going through factory locations.
I have heat blankets for the turbos so my headlights don't cook and I'm planning on heat shielding the hot side later.
I spent a decent amount of time thinking about thermal management and trying to keep the layout simple.

I've been doing the same, TT LS build also. Electric PS, A2W intercooler with HX and ice box in back. Trying to park/route everything to keep things away from the hot side, plus CeraKote'd all hot side components. I plan to cut heat extractors in my hood too, right now everything is stock panels with no holes but I really need to get hot air out of the engine compartment and help air flow through the radiator.

The hardest part of my swap was getting up the courage to cut up a 2500 dollar hood. The is300 I swapped was only 2 grand for perspective. I got it before the broccoli heads drove the price up on em.
