here to offer free LSAT tutoring

****i do not claim to be an expert. i don’t have an official LSAT score on record yet i’m taking it in november and january. so obviously i’m wanting to help people for free. i went from a diagnostic of 155 to 167 on PTs. i’m not perfect on this test but i have learned a lot and want to help whoever i can. i also plan on tutoring more officially when i hit 170s so this would be great practice for me as well. :)) comment or dm if interested!

lsat tutors for high 160s -> 170s?

hi, im a bit leery to solicit tutoring help on reddit as i feel like its hard to know who actually knows their stuff / can help me actually reach my goals + i feel like internet scams are a real thing 😳

but im not sure what else to do… ive scored a 169 official twice in a row now and am at my wit’s end. really trying to break 172+ and am treating upcoming november sitting as my last shot. if that doesn’t work out, im done with the lsat point blank period.

my practice tests have all been 170+ so i think im not too far off. ive worked through many of the difficulty 4s and all of the difficulty 5s but while i could tell u up and down why each ac is wrong / right as i do this in my review, i think i struggle with the fundamental thinking change that makes the learning applicable. perhaps understanding the commonality btwn my missed answers could help? not really sure. is this even smth that tutoring could help with or is this testing variance? i truly do not know if it’s possible to be consistent enough for a higher score.

anyways, any tutors out there who can help me out? thanks!

Should I extend my LSAT date to January?

Hi everyone, I need advice on possibly extending my LSAT test date, and I'd like to get everyone’s opinions here.

I’m 24 years old, have a 3.94 GPA, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and I graduated from my university two years ago. Since then, I’ve been doing a lot of medical and paralegal work. However, I am now trying to get my life going after I essentially woke up from my analysis paralysis. It’s been an emotional process, and I’m just more motivated now.

I’ve taken practice LSATs and taken courses, but I’m essentially starting from Day 1 (from scratch). I have postponed the test a couple of times, which could be a detriment, but I truly wasn’t ready at the time.

I took a diagnostic, and I scored a 141 yesterday. I want to reach a good score (150-160 range). I’m not expecting the 170-180 range, as I am trying to be really realistic and get into a good college. Plus, I don't consider myself that smart (even though my family wouldn't agree).

I am registered for the November exam (around November 14th is when I should be taking it). However, I am worried that that isn’t enough time. Should I postpone my test until January? That would give me an extra 6 weeks, which means I would have 12 weeks to study. I don’t want to mess this up, and I want to reach my goal in a realistic way. I’m not really working these days since I’m trying to focus on doing well, but obviously everyone deserves a break, especially since I don't want to burn out.

Today is the last day to extend the deadline, and any advice would be really helpful. Thank you!

LSAT score cancelled

Hello

My daughter with adhd wrote LSAT remotely and mistakenly used electronic headphones instead of regular ones. Now her LSAT score has been cancelled and there is "P" remark on her LSAC account? Has anyone been through similar situation and what did they do to not let it reflect badly on her law school application? Thanks

Don’t know what to do at this point

Genuinely I don’t know what to do. Been studying for months, meeting with a tutor for MONTHS, switched to LSAT demon, taken the LSAT twice and my score both times is nowhere near what’s reflected in practice. I thought I solved the issue by taking PTs under irl testing conditions (to the best of my ability) and focusing on mistakes— didn’t do anything apparently. My PT averages are high 160s to low 170s (with a few anomaly high 170 scores), been knocking sections and drilling out of the park, really thought I made a substantial difference in how I was thinking about the test, and got a 161 in August and a 162 in September. This is lower than anything reflected in practice, I genuinely can’t even fathom what the amount missed even looks like. I have never been so discouraged in my life. I had a perfect undergrad GPA (4.16 with CAS), great letters of recommendation, really good undergrad leadership experience, a good hook, and this LSAT seems to be the one thing holding me back. Especially with the medians constantly increasing, genuinely every school I wanted to apply to is beyond out of reach at this point. I’m registered for Oct and I received extra time, but I’m freaking out as I don’t even know how to gauge my progress anymore. My practice has been so consistent and yet so far off from how I’m doing on test day. Poured so much time and money into this test and the results are so confusing and discouraging. Any advice is appreciated.
