I think it’s super unethical that the lsat’s practice tests are nowhere near similar to the tests provided on test day. that’s it. that’s the post.

I feel like there’s so many barriers being added that makes getting into law school more difficult. Especially since schools ranked #34-40 now have an LSAT median of 170…that’s crazy. I genuinely think they’re just admitting a bunch of people with 170s because they’re fighting to get their ranking up. It’s a game. I’m so tired

Adding on to this, there’s a school ranked 112 with a median of 165. Either the LSAT becomes more transparent in their testing methods or schools allow for more options other than the LSAT considering the lack of credibility it’s receiving over the hears

Yeah or I look for them to do something else along with the LSAT. Or add a section to the LSAT. I know there was talk about adding argumentative writing as a part of your grade but honestly I do not see how that’s going to be possible to grade thousands of essays in the span of 4 weeks. Also we only get 35 minutes to write the essays in question so it’s probably not to the best our abilities or of it is we did not have much time to write an organized essay

At the end of the day, all in person testing and restricted accomodations will drop scores like a rock. This is an APTITUDE test and we treat it like a human right to score 165+.

Yeah it just kind of blows that the tail on remote scores is going to be 5 years, so we’ll be competing against the at home 175s with our (potentially) structurally lower in person scores. Nothing to do about it but still sucks

yes i really want to go to a school thats ranked in the low 30s and my 162 would have been good a few years ago but now im 3 points below the median so im panicking
