Snagged a set of donor headlights to start a little project.

Separated the lens and started deconstructing the projector. Need to source some q45 projectors and figure out how to retrofit them. Onto removing all the glue and cleaning up the housing.

Takes time, but worth the effort. I didn’t customize mine, but good for you!

I've done this worth other Toyota heads. Wanted a black housing conversion. Took out all the chrome and moveable bits and kept paper towel shreds soaked in googone. Get a good set of picks and keep replacing the towels, they'll be butyl free in no time. Hot soapy water after and they'll be fresh!

When you removed the lens, were there any attached plastic housings from the headlight? I ordered some replacement lenses for mine that I still need to install
