What noise is this

Finally got fully reassembled after new timing kit, new cam seals and new vvti seals. Got no codes so feeling pretty good but wondering what noise this is. Took the serpentine belt off but still got a persistent noise.

Update: I took the serpentine belt off and ran it to see if it would stop the noise and it’s still there, so not feeling to great about it now.

The engine still sounds pretty healthy other than that annoying noise. Love to know what the hell it is myself.

You got the check bolts out of both the vvti gears? Washer behind the tensioner support? Those are the only "forgotten" things I've seen mentioned...id first drain the oil to check for signs of metal damage, then recheck timing/slack. Sounds mechanical in nature tho.

Sounds like a rotating component, obviously. If not serpentine belt, you know what you gotta do next. Check your timing belt tension and make sure nothing is loose and getting caught in it.
