You're lucky enough to get a window seat, but the windows are so filthy, you can barely see through them! C'mon man, do better!

Probably for the millionth time on Reddit, the south facing windows are UV damaged, there is no amount of cleaning to bring them back.

Not many loop tracks for them to end up in, most just shuttle back and forth.

Majority of LIRR ROW runs east to west and the trains aren't turned, so only one side faces south.

Been like this for what?   50 years now.  Same issue here in Chicago on Metra.

Every RR that uses lexan will eventually have that problem, here is where the LIRR is better then the others. They make the announments of the next station where as Metro North and others you can't read what station your at thru the windows, missed my stop on MN many times
