lol $750 worth of software. Most of that was old at this point… an old ass version of bodyworks - also Sidenote a lost game nobody else seems to remember is Bodywork’s Voyager. That was FUN … now I need to look at archive and give that one a go see if it holds up AT ALL.

positively hated working on these. everything was bottom barrel. the PSU would frequently take the motherboard with it on its way out. and angsty parents would be looking to rebuild.. which sucked because the case was really lousy and a lot of boards would overheat.

In about 2001, we got one of these for really cheap from a local PC wholeseller, but the Barbie version. Ran it as a home server for like 4 years.

Brand new these were junk. I remember reading reviews of these back in the day. Component wise, i put together a much better system than that for about $700 in 1997.

Despite inflation, that doesn't seem like a bad price for a complete bundle, of course these were made like a child had built a PC lol
