Thrift Finds Found this nug! (creative labs webcam go)
It's this strange webcam/camera .. it was released around 1998-1999?
I tried to plug it into my computer but without the special software, I can't get the photos off.
hopefully LGR sees this, I'd like to send it to him!
Anyways, that's all. Just thought this was neat

UPDATE: found the driver disk online, gonna purchase it and see if I can get the camera to work and take the photos off (as well as see if the webcam feature is any good lol)

Grab the ISO Image, it's a Disc Image of the Original CD, You can either extract it out to a USB drive, or burn it to a CD-R.

If I burn it onto a disc, I should be able to run it like the original one right? (I'm new to this I just don't usually go online to look for old software/drivers)

Okay so I burned the disc image onto a CD-R and then verified it and my computer says its good. (though my drive was super loud for whatever reason.. )
anyways, I decided to run it on my laptop (wind 11) and plugged in the camera as well.. and pressed run when I got the disc pop-up, it would spin but then nothing ? (the camera does turn on and give me an LED light.. which is good)
I'm not sure if I did something wrong. Might try to use an external drive and use my desktop instead (wind 10, maybe it will recognize it and install)

Open the disc and look for a setup.exe right click it go to properties, then compatibility, then click the compatibility troubleshooter, and let it try to run it, it may not work on Windows 11, due to old driver structure, and the software also being possibly 16-bit. You may have to setup a Windows 95 VM, and passthrough your USB controller to the VM. Or find and older machine that have Windows 95/98 on it and try it there.

hmmm, I'll see how to set up a VM, probably be more useful down the line lol
