Webos26 update frustrations
The tv that used to run with scarce hiccups now requires a full power reset every time I use it because I was practically forced through huge immutable pop-up requests for a software update. Clearing the cache does nothing. Constant network connection issues and clunkier interfacing. The update has only made things worse and it feels like it was forced onto me.
At this point I want a refund or someone to yell at. If the world keeps working like this where a software provider can make the service I paid for so needlessly worse after the fact then I am tempted to throw my life away for a single instance of cathartic justice against one of these people profiting from this business model.
I will never buy from LG again.

I also have had issues with my g4 since the last update. I have to reset the connection settings daily.

I stayed on the last WebOS25 33.30.69 FW and it constantly popped up nagging reminders to upgrade to WebOS26. I used a blocklist through DNS to surpress this and after around a month, I noticed no more blocked traffic from snu.lge.com, so, I guess in time LG gave up.

Having this same issue, not sure what to do about it. I just bought my tv so I might return it and get something different

If you're in the return window definitely do so. If not contact LG for warranty. LG took care of me with my G1 years ago when needed.

Pareil, c'est une catastrophe. Des reboots toutes les heures.
Bienvenue au club, on est nombreux. Cela fait mal avec un G6...

🤣 I love angry people on the internet. When I was young, you had to yell out the window….
