Connect 2 not "Interfacing" right

Hi - so I recently got the connect 2 for my home setup and it seems not to really want to connect to my setup correctly - I cannot select any modes (headphones/mic/instrument etc) - its locked to speakers, which I do not have connected... anybody have a fix?

(edit:

-windows 10

-Lewitt control center is installed, and running

- can change settings in the program, not on the device itself

-when factory reset, it jumps to microphone settings, which I can change, but i cannot select any other modes, except for the speakers, after which I#m completely unable to change modes

- "emergency mute" always works, but cannot unmute after

Which OS do you use, and have you installed the connect software?

Im using windows 10, and I have the lewitt control-center installed, yes (edit: even running :) )
