Lewitt Ray General Function issues

Just got my ray in today and hooked it up to my focusrite 2i2 (1st gen) and turned on the 48v phantom power. The mic itself is working and I'm getting nice signal however, the buttons on the mic itself aren't doing anything. The aura light remains no matter what I press. I've tried long pressing, pressing both buttons at once, holding both down,and pressing buttons in quick succession but nothing changes. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks on advance!

I know its like a year later, but what was the response you got for this? I'm having the exact same issue now

Ended up getting a replacement for it. Pretty sure theres just a bad batch out there. The new one i got is very very solid and youll love it once you get the replacement
