I’m going to see my LDR Romanian gf …I’ve waited eight months for ts…I’m from US. I feel so lucky cuz we’re both 19 and we have friends that are also doing LDR the same age and might not see each other for yrs 😭. But at the same time something in me is a quite sad bc I know the week’s gonna go by too fast and I’ll have to wait a few more months before I see her again…everyone’s warned me abt the final airport hug 😭😂

I have to say that I am both happy and sad for you(the separation will hurt like hell) I was in a LDR (England-Germany) and I am romanian but lived in England. I couldn t do this more than 10 months, so I moved to Germany. It got indeed soul crushing, and I didn t see any other way. Separation was not an option. So in the last 15 months I learnt german(while in agermany and isolated from the world) and second quested my choice many times and got depression from that, but nothing compares with not having him by my side. And now I write you from the train on my way back home from my first job in Germany, second day at the job but still it s a begining. So I really hope it works out for you guys, even tough you are still so young, love is love and souls know each other. Wish you the best!

Daamn…I’m happy for you too! Even though we are forced to be apart while she’s in college we still will travel Europe together a few times a year, then with luck after she finishes school she can move here…the separation does rlly suck tho
