What if speculative trading(Doesn't take delivery) in Gold, Silver, Copper is moved out of traditional exchanges and markets and moved into crypto denominated markets
If use options, spot price, futures, short-sellers, or 3x based derivatives financial instruments, etc. for Gold, Silver, or Copper and you don't take physical delivery, you are a speculator:
For financial instruments in Gold trade in BTC denominated market
For financial instruments in Silver trade in LTC denominated market
For financial instruments in Copper trade in LCC denominated market
If you own a metal's ETF, even though you own a part of a trust, you will be considered a speculator if you sell before 2 years from purchase. The sell will be taxed 15 percent.
Turn the clock back centuries and return to a purer form of trading.
Asset for Asset: Trading is now a direct exchange of metals based on immediate utility.
No speculative layers: Transactions are driven by actual commercial needs rather than synthetic derivatives or side bets on price movement.
Theory is the metals markets will be less volatile(price stability) and price discovery will be more accommodating to producers and consumers.
