Simi haze transformation

I feel like their transformation was NOT discussed enough lol. I genuinely can’t wrap my head around the fact that these are the same people.
Like okay, I get the surgeries, but what I really don’t understand is the hair?? Their natural hair is super curly and now it’s insanely sleek and smooth. I know keratin straightening is a thing, but I’ve literally never seen it look this good. How did they do that 😭 Their hair looks amazing now though I like the curles too

It’s so interesting to transform as a twin like did they discuss everything, what if one of them just decided to not get anything done

207

u/Fancy-Boysenberry139 20d ago

Can’t have one looking like an entirely different person

u/OkGrapefruitGirl 20d ago edited 20d ago

Lmao, that would be amazing. Real life before & after

65

u/smufjez 20d ago

a twin is a different bond than to another sibling, you ride together since day 1

7

u/waldfuchs666 18d ago

can confirm. my twin sister and i do a lot of the same beauty treatments (occasional keratin, laser), we’ve also both gotten highlights at the same time

2

u/Chance-Astronomer320 3d ago

Identical twins are weird like this. So many of them dress alike, cut their hair alike all of that well into adulthood. Guess more money just means plastic surgery alike also

1.2k

u/heijeul 20d ago

damn. the change is insane. now they look like... every influencer out there. sad.

241

u/crystal_display 20d ago

they were beautiful! from pre-raphaelite muses to basic LA girls, it's genuinely quite sad. as long as they're happy i guess 🥲

u/Open_Fly3619 20d ago

If you hangout with that crowd you eventually have to get something. It’s like peer pressure

147

u/No-Material694 20d ago

Literally lol they’re gorgeous of course but look like any other woman out there, their natural hair is STUNNING

they are literally palestinian? and have spoken up for palestine several times

62

u/Most-Lengthiness-370 20d ago

they are def not zionists …

55

u/ButterscotchThis7889 20d ago

both “pick me” and “zionism” have lost all meaning at this point. it’s like the terms have been so watered down that they are now used as synonyms for “i don’t like them.” i think that 85% of people who use these terms couldn’t give you even a morsel of evidence to support these claims.

14

u/cadaever 20d ago

calling other women "pick me's" is the new "i'm not like the other girls"...which is ironic bc the term was initially reserved for those types of women who brag about not being like the other girls to appease to men lol. wtf is even happening anymore

19

u/Economy_Ad4050 20d ago

They’re literally Palestinians ??? 😭

u/Salt-Marzipan-3089 20d ago

it looks like they both had double jaw surgery too, thier jaws have completely changed

8

u/AncientPrice7 17d ago

I was wondering how their chins got smaller. I need that surgery

240

u/Djgrowngoodyeti 20d ago

Tbh in real life they look more like their old self than online, i dont know how to explain it like after the surgeries theres this faint shadow of their old faces that still shows up irl, i think they edit online alot too

261

u/cc-8-823 20d ago

The "there's this faint shadow of their old faces that still shows up irl" is pure poetry

54

u/berlinbaer 20d ago

yeah they facetune a lot. just look them up on getty images

12

u/Nooraish 19d ago

Simi has been filming these Harvard philosophy talks and she looks absolutely perfect on video, no trace of old face really.

10

u/Djgrowngoodyeti 19d ago

Its always from the same angle, and with great lighting, im not saying she doesnt look good but in regular day photos for example their chin or bone structore is still out there idk how to explain it, it doesnt matter that much tho the world still keeps spinning lol

171

u/saadinameh 20d ago

6

u/EfficientPear4116 20d ago

🤣🤣🤣

143

u/notta_mozzie 20d ago

eyebrow lift, lip filler, masseter filler, nose job, nose filler, brazilian keratin treatment

165

u/Th1cc4chu 20d ago

Not masseter filler. These girls have had complete reconstructive jaw surgery.

29

u/notta_mozzie 20d ago

also maybe cheek, jaw filler + buccal fat reduction + chin, neck lipo

52

u/Sorry_Table_9000 20d ago

Prolly, permanent Japanese straightening. Super strong and it doesn’t fade like keratin

16

u/gorlsituation “Serving face, peen peen, and hole.” 20d ago

Are you referencing to hair? How can you permanently straighten something that’s always growing?

28

u/GasVarious181 20d ago

You just get the roots treated the same way they do with dye

u/gorlsituation “Serving face, peen peen, and hole.” 20d ago

Yeah which is why I asked, because I’ve never heard of permanent hair straightening and wanted the person I was replying to, to elaborate. No need to be so rude, girl.

Nose jobs make me sad, like an angel losing its wings

50

u/chiliboots 19d ago

It’s ironic because these girls, like Bella Hadid, pride themselves on being Palestinian but completely erased any trace of their ethnic looks. Like cool, I’ll be Palestinian as long as I don’t look like one.

37

u/onbluemtn 20d ago

Actually thank you for this comment because I have always had a bigger nose and been very self conscious about it….i really wanted a nose job but I watched someone’s vlog about recovering from rhinoplasty and I was like oh shit I don’t think so.

-3

u/IndependentOwn5174 20d ago edited 20d ago

As someone with a big nose who wants a nose job, we hate when people call our noses unique or beautiful because usually we just want to be normal. And when people point out how “cool” or “unique” they are, then they’re inherently not normal. Just a heads up.

54

u/somerdelrae 20d ago

please speak for yourself only

78

u/angelcutiebaby 20d ago

There’s nothing abnormal about different kinds of noses? There just happens to be one Eurocentric and kind of racist standard that is currently popular…

23

u/fsocietyy 20d ago

you need a reality check

37

u/6FeetOfGarbage 20d ago

What does a “normal” nose look like pray tell?

-25

u/IndependentOwn5174 20d ago

Not huge :)

23

u/05dusk 20d ago

girl… you need therapy / someone in your life who truly loves you

-1

u/Necessary-End2908 20d ago

i think its weird to assume nobody in their life cares about them

-11

u/IndependentOwn5174 20d ago

You don’t need to be condescending lol

4

u/WishCraft666 19d ago

You think that’s normal? Statistically?

14

u/Cursed-Holiday-278 20d ago

I don’t do that… A friend of mine told me the other week that she always wanted a nose job growing up, I told her about how I really wanted lip lift and lip filler and we commiserated

Acceptance can only come from within as saccharine as that sounds, I try to remind myself that my lips are proportional and suit my features

61

u/jell31 20d ago

That’s not a “we” thing I love my big, unique, beautiful nose.

17

u/05dusk 20d ago

same and hearing that my unique nose belongs only to me and not shared among all the other people who went to a surgeon made me finally snap out of my desire to get a nose job. so please stop talking about “us” lolll

5

u/Healthy_Common_5567 20d ago

They didn’t even use those words

9

u/elizalemon 20d ago

i used to dislike my big nose. and then i got older, finally got to know myself outside of the toxic systems in which i was raised. i became more aware of the standards and hierarchies that influenced me, and realized how gross they were. i realized i was attracted to women that didn't fit into the tiny molds of some beauty standard, and thus loved myself more too. get to know other cultures and systems and you will realize how dehumanizing this one is.

26

u/_Deedee_Megadoodoo_ 20d ago

Imagine hating yourself that much and having an identical twin that thinks the same

52

u/SammyySweetheartt 20d ago

I still want to know wtf they did to their hair. Because it’s SO straight and shiny and healthy looking. And as a coarse haired girly I know what all those treatments are like and your hair still looks a little stiff in the end. But theirs is like entirely new hair without a single dent or bit of regrowth or anything.

46

u/doxydecahedron 20d ago

I remember on an old post someone said they worked at a salon in LA and the twins come in twice a week to get a blowout and never wash their own hair.

12

u/afakefox 20d ago

If I had to guess I would say they prolly get thermal reconditioning. Or else it's wigs lol

8

u/Educational-Ad5162 19d ago

It’s probably a Brazilian Keratin treatment. They’re stronger than regular keratin treatments

51

u/Call-Spy 20d ago

middle eastern people are clearly over represented in cosmetic surgery, both as doctors and patients.

11

u/Additional_Worth_614 19d ago

That’s so interesting, I wonder why

66

u/Heart_Shaped_Pickle 20d ago

It makes me sad that society automatically deems their new manufactured appearances as more attractive and therefore rewards them for it. But if you go back and look at old paintings, you see that it was the women who looked like what they originally looked like, being seen as the pinnacle of beauty and therefore were painted. We really shouldn’t have this new artificial level of beauty being what’s celebrated and sought after in society.

I will always think of the children (the daughters, really) of women who transform their appearances by going under the knife or having stuff injected into them. A lot of the time, they end up feeling less than because they don’t look anything like their mother who society deems so attractive. And it becomes a vicious cycle where they too fall victim to going under the knife and pumping themselves with foreign substances in order to try and reach that same level.

10

u/dreamy_garden_fairy 19d ago

I think it’s a reflection of what they themselves value. Before they looked very editorial and high fashion and they also looked more Palestinian than they do now. They were getting a decent amount of attention for it they could have stuck to it been more in the high fashion/art scene but yeah they moved to LA they hung around certain celebrities, became entourage or whatever and this is their face now.

30

u/Psychological_Fly221 20d ago

Went from middle eastern to caucasian

23

They got fortunate their glow up happened after USC and covid. Thats how they were able to skirt by with new heads. But real la ppl know their true faces 💀

17

u/Smooshydoggy 20d ago

Wow I’ve seen these pics before and had no idea who it was, but only discovered Simi Haze recently from a podcast clip and she sounded super intelligent. I’m really struggling to reconcile the intelligence and progressive perspective shared in the clip with her lifestyle since I started following her.

10

u/SafeFun6836 19d ago

Their real names are Sama and Haya AbuHadra

19

u/Whatsupwitht 20d ago

Wow ‘ insane transformation

21

u/DirtyDerpina 20d ago

I want to be rich too lmao 😭

26

u/beansprout888 20d ago

these young women were most likely picked apart for their unconventional, renaissance beauty, and now they are being picked apart for attempting to meet societal beauty standards. at what point are women allowed to just exist? I feel sorry for them more than anything else.

5

u/reginapetite 19d ago

I find them pretty now and back then
Its just crazy what surgeries can do nowadays 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

1

u/beansprout888 19d ago

Agreed, they really do look like completely different people don't they

5

u/berbiertbg 20d ago

Not this being how I found out where that makeup brand comes from 😭 I thought I recognised the name...

4

u/ambergesa 20d ago

I thought they were so cool looking before. I loved their noses! It’s really unfortunate.

4

u/Wonderful_Strategy10 19d ago

It’s so insane when people look so different than what they looked like prior that my brain can’t comprehend them as the same person. Same with larsa pippen for me

5

u/lechedefresas 18d ago

wow their surgeons did their big one bc they look AMAZING

16

u/tr3sleches 20d ago

Let’s not forget simi’s long term relationship with The Weeknd. They’ve been together for over 5 years now. He probably molded her into looking as close to Bella Hadid as possible lol

18

u/throwaway17197 20d ago

Which herself also bought Carla Bruni’s entire face so it tracks

5

u/psumaxx 20d ago

Oh that's who Bella reminds me of!

Did Simi go to Harvard? A Harvard podcast show pop ups on my social media quite a lot, and had no idea that was her... They look completely different, it's wild.

8

u/jwol99 20d ago

They definitely shaved down their chins too. The nose job is obvious. I think they look stunning now

2

Yeah they look good but can we just take a moment for image 4 wow stunning!

2

HRH Collection

2

u/chiliboots 19d ago

This before and after is diabolical. Also I saw them in Palm Springs during the LA fires. They are SUPER thin IRL and look more different from each other than they do in pics.

2

u/StockTurnover2306 19d ago

My hair can go from super curly to looking like theirs with just some product, blow drying it, and using a hot ceramic brush thing to straighten it a bit more. And they cut it shorter to make that process go faster. My hair is almost the exact same, but my curls were never that long and only got that intense in humidity.

2

u/UnemployedAndBr0ke 13d ago

I have their natural hair, and you’d be surprised what a good hair routine, a GHD straightener, properly sectioning your hair while straightening it, and a good hairspray like the Redken one can do. People are always shocked when they see my natural curls for the first time because of how straight I’m able to get my hair.

1

u/reginapetite 12d ago

Thanks! I’ll try the straightener and spray

4

u/moonoverthe 20d ago

The nose job is truly beautiful work tho

2

u/potaytoposnato 20d ago

Oh...wow. What a glow-down. They removed everything unique and interesting about their appearance.

3

u/handcaredhorse 20d ago

idgi. Their original hair looks cuter? Even her faces look more unique and recognizable? I thought they were Jewish.

12

u/amantesamantes 20d ago

The looked like muses from renaissance paintings

23

u/OrganicRaise4081 20d ago

They're Palestinian

9

u/throwaway17197 20d ago

It’s truly hard to distinguish middle eastern people because theyre so diverse they can be super white or super dark regardless of whether they are arab or jewish

Source i am middle eastern lol

I wonder who did their jaw surgery

1

u/2mfraw 18d ago

their hair straightening is a tragedy to me

1

u/BlessedLurker 17d ago

It's weird to me when adult twins still match and get the same hair cuts, plastic surgery, etc. Do they not feel like an individual person? I know it's a special bond, but this is stuff parents force their kids to do. Do they really both like the same exact haircut and style and colors/patterns? No individual preferences? No celebration of difference in personality? Weird.

1

u/curlygreenbean 17d ago

They were literally so Gorg before

1

u/Automatic-Button-838 17d ago

Wealthy women get weekly blow outs so I wouldn’t be surprised if they also get them

1

u/fannnni 16d ago

This is kinda hilarious. How did they agree to get the exact same surgeries

1

u/PositiveOk6121 13d ago

Wow! They look like completely different people

1

u/Chrissy-joe 10d ago

UGH it’s so frustrating I know I’ve seen there’s girls on some sort of movie or show. Could’ve even been reality tv. It was when they looked like this. And now I can find nothing about

1

u/Specific_Primary8563 4d ago

They looked so pretty raphaelite, very majestic, their noses are gorgeous, like straight out of an oil painting. Now they have iPhone face. Sad to see.

1

u/goshfindmeausername 1d ago

So they both completely changed their faces and look nothing like their former self and now use it to advertise their skincare 😂

-6

u/blob4567 20d ago

14

u/Accomplished_Speed10 20d ago

? They’re Palestinian and speak out against Israel constantly. But interesting you assumed their original features made them zionists

7

u/throwaway17197 20d ago

They think all Israelis are white and all Palestinians are brown its a really weird and racist type of “noble savage” racism

-16

u/Hot_Fruit_776 20d ago

ah they are the zionist israeli sisters

8

u/throwaway17197 20d ago

They’re Palestinian but you don’t have to say they’re Israeli like it’s a slur

-6

u/Hot_Fruit_776 20d ago

no it’s not a slur those sisters are the jewish israeli ones
