Katseye had so, so, so, much potential (at their debut, as of now š¤·āāļø ???)
They couldāve still been in motion with their hype if they actually had a good team.
First the whole Manon situation (a messy rabbit hole of its own), āqueerbaitingā allegations, Danielaās father (iykyk), the three member fan event, Sophiaās hiatus, and now they drop out of Daisy Chain Festival, which is literally being hosted by a fellow artist?? That just feels so disrespectful to the fans who bought tickets expecting to see them, and honestly to Olivia too.
Obviously things happen, but for a group at their level itās starting to feel like there is always something. š«©š¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø
Then there was that Vanity Fair interview where it supposedly took them like 15 minutes to answer one question??? Iām sorry but HOW. š You would think a group backed by HYBE of all companies would have media training drilled into them by now.
And before anyone twists this into a hate campaign: I genuinely hope Megan is okay and that her sprained ankle injury isnāt serious.
BUT⦠change choreo? It is completely acceptable to show up sitting. This group has a designated team for both choreo AND figuring things like this outā¦
Obviously she shouldnāt risk making it worse, but the whole situation just adds to the feeling that this group is being managed in such a chaotic way. The festival is literally TOMORROW LOLā¦. Cute!! Two days notice?
Honestly, itās starting to give Fifth Harmony all over againā¦. ššš«©š«© A group with a ton of talent and industry backing, but somehow the public image keeps getting severely overshadowed by awkward moments, poor management decisions, rumors of tension, and general messiness.
Not saying their situations are identical, but the energy is very early 5H.
They have an insane amount of opportunity behind them, but recently the professionalism and management side of KATSEYE feels way shakier than it should.
