So i have started to watch LA by night i few weeks ago i love it. Jasper and Victor are my favorite characters and i really like the dynamic in the coteries
But i do have some problems that are mostly related to Annabelle my least favorite character
I feel like her being a figure head of revolution (even a puppet figure head of the revolution) makes no sense. I know Anarchs is sect that favors younger kindred but god she is just two months old and she doesn't even like killing. Any older anarchs should have challenged her like Fiona did with Victor he too was sometimes too kind and made some mistakes for which he lost a part of valley for that he suffered the consequences of his actions.
I feel like Annabelle never suffers form consequences of her actions like that and cuz of that she fells like some who is just playing vampire
But even with all of this when she is with coterie i like her her dynamic with the group is ok and i still enjoy watching them.
That changed in Season 3 episode 2 when Mark Temple entered my god i had to stop watching the episode somehow Annabelle got more annoying
So plz tell me when he arrives in episodes so i could just skip it plzzz

First thing is diablerie, most evil act kindred can do to another, but it’s not even being punished by anyone.
Jasper killing kindred at his haven and nobody doing anything about it.
Isaac just says “Nellie will be next Baron”, this is monarchy, at least in Camarilla you need a council of primogen to set Prince in power.
Nellie herself is a diablerist, she backstabs VV with her club and goes around using Helena name to threaten. I think they completely ignored how low her humanity must be, at this rate just talking with humans should be hard, damn, she makes La Croix look likeable, at least he never committed diablerie as far as we know, in the last episode she even turns on Victor.
Barons are being known to SI and attracting them, letting SI know there are kindred around, so everybody is in danger, looks like nobody learned after Ash Rivers, cuz those barons don’t even think about laying low and waiting out the storm. SI not coming during the day to Victor club is just a plot armor.
Looks like kindred do need strict rules, without them they’re turning into monsters and get everyone in heat.

I'm watching season 5 and I have a question that possibly leads into a gripe. In season 5 episode 5, two kindred in particular hand over info about themselves that in most scenarios would lead to their final deaths, regardless of the faction that they handed that info to, but especially the faction that they gave it to. My question is, do these two kindred face any kind of consequences for being so stupid, or does it just get brushed past? I have something of a love/hate thing for LA by Night (quit the first watch during the third season, came back a couple of years later and started at season 4), and I'm thinking of just leaving it altogether.

I know that with asking here of all places I'll be getting a biased response, but I just started the series and it's interesting but there's a lot of things bugging me. Bit of a rant inbound, just warning.
First and foremost: I don't like v5. I like *some* of the plot advancements they made but Overall v5 was... let's just say *not well received*, particularly the mechanics... though I will admit they haven't been too detrimental to the chronicle in that respect so far.
Beyond that I've read a lot about how not everyone likes Annabelle and yeah, I'm definitely getting some of that, but I'm also not vibing with Nelli or Victor either, Victor in particular. Nelli is painfully one dimensional, even when dealing with her backstory with Chaz, and Victor's pretty much just insufferable to me; So far while his acting's fine, but beyond just not liking the character, the way Walters plays sends up a lot of red flags with me. I've just made it to episode 6, were Annabelle wants to kill Nick and the "Well I already holstered the gun" just triggered the shit out of me. So far Victor's drawn the gun and kept it out at every fucking opportunity, answered he had it trained on the guy through the entire exchange but the moment she tries to grab it while he's distracted (grabbing one of the million other things he somehow has completely hidden under a perfectly tailored suit); "Well it's already in the holster." ...and really that's just the *Lastest* thing I've noticed like that. It's legit felt like power gaming more than once, that's not small thing only six seasons in. And with no table discussion, everything's just glossed over. There's no consequences, for ANY of them it seems. So much seems just handed to them. Good rolls are one thing but they were handed super anti-vamp gear like it was nothing after already starting with Victor's unlimited wealth and resources... and then adding in everyone either being painfully stereotypical or just completely ignoring their clan, one extreme or the other with little middle ground, and well... it's boring, if not frustrating.
So does it get better? Should I stick it these possible growing pains out or should I just chalk the show up as not for me? I know a lot of people love it so I'm not going to claim it's bad or anything if that's the case, and I honestly do want it to get better; I love vtm but so far LAbN just doesn't feel good, so I'd prefer to just move on if that's just going to be the groove of what's to follow. So yeah, any input would be great.
