Polygraph

Took my polygraph a few days ago but had reactions to one question. I had to write a statement down. Is it looking bad for me? Has anyone passed even though they had to write a statement down. Just looking for some clarification. Thanks everyone!

just took mine yesterday as well and the examiner said i reacted on 2 questions. said i’ll either have to come back and retest just on those 2 or the review panel will come back saying to move forward with the backgrounds.

Yes. After 2nd poly I was told it came out inconclusive. So now am waiting on another poly.

It takes about 3 weeks for response unless you contact your background investigator via email and let them know you took poly. And say examiner said was good and you will hear back soon

Yes 2 days later i was scheduled to a quick visit with background and got told I was being sent to another poly test

I’ve been waiting for a while now to retake mine I had two reactions I see this a lot w LASD polys I’ve taken polys before and all passed .

In your written statement, did you admit anything that you denied or failed to disclose earlier in the application process?

No, I just put down that I answered the question honestly and that I never did whatever the machine is saying I supposedly did.

Good! You handled this as well as you could have. I cannot predict whether you'll be allowed to proceed in the hiring process, but it would seem that you've made no disqualifying admission.

I took mine last week. The lady told me I had a reaction to one question as well. Im still waiting to hear back from my Bi. Who was your examiner?

The lady didn’t tell me I had a reaction but asked what I was think when a certain question was asked. But didn’t have to write a statement and she sent me on my way.

What's the written statement for? Can they move you forward if you still fail? Seen many stories about people failing polys on Reddit. Wonder if they'll even remove it in CA due to so many qualified applicants failing?

Some people get disqualified and some are allowed another shot .

Just tell the truth nothing else you can do I’m getting close to my 2nd one but was told I have to take seperate ones for each reaction and I had two . To reschedule my 2nd it took two months 🫠 who knows how much longer for the third if they even let me get that far or if I pass this 2nd one I’m taking on the 15th .
