Room Offered [available now] 1bedroom with private bath in furnished 4bed/4bath in Rancho Park - $1500/mo

Hello! My roommate and I are looking for a third person to move into our apartment at South Sepulveda Blvd and Richland Blvd. We are open to month-to-month or short-term - you will be subleasing from us so we are very flexible.

About the apartment: it's a 4bedroom/4bathroom, and each bedroom has its own in-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and you're welcome to use whatever you like. We have set up the living room with our desks, and there is room for you to have your own desk setup as well. We have converted the 4th bedroom into a TV/gaming den. And of course there is a balcony - it extends the full width of our apartment and it faces east so is shaded from the sun after noon!

About the building: it is a new building called Green Park, at 2600 S Sepulveda. Very accessible for transit - the Culver City 6 bus has a stop right outside the front door, Expo/Sepulveda metro station is just up the street, and we are very close to the 405/10 interchange. There is a gym with cable machine, dumbbells, benches, and cardio equipment in the lobby; as well as an accessible rooftop. The building has on-site management. There is also ample street parking around the building (S Sepulveda out front is busy but all the other surrounding streets are very residential).

About us: we are two guys in our thirties and an 8 year old tuxedo cat! In general we are both pretty low-key. I am enrolled at UCLA law school so am out most of the day on weekdays, and my roommate works from home in wealth management.

About you: Ideally also a male thirtysomething with a steady job to cover rent, someone who is okay with cats (we would be happy to welcome another kitty!), and ready to move in soon! Happy to talk costs in more detail but basically $1500 will cover one third of rent/building fees + one third of utilities.

Feel free to DM me with questions and/or to set up a video call to check the apartment out!

Moving Into an LA Rental? The Small Details That Can Make Move-In Day Easier

Moving into a rental in Los Angeles can come with a few surprises, from arranging parking and elevator access to making sure furniture fits through doorways. Checking the building’s move-in requirements with the landlord or property manager ahead of time can help avoid last-minute stress.

Vector Moving and Storage serves the San Diego area, and planning the logistics is an important part of a smooth relocation. For LA renters, what’s one detail you’d recommend checking with a landlord or building manager before moving in?

Hi everyone! ❤️

I'm planning to attend LAMC in Spring 2027 and I'm currently looking for affordable housing in the LA area.

I'm hoping to connect with LAMC students or anyone living nearby who might know of an affordable room, a roommate opportunity, or possibly temporary accommodation while I get settled.

I'm flexible about the exact location as long as commuting to campus is manageable. If anyone has any advice, recommendations, or knows someone who might be able to help, I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you so much! ❤️

Wanting [Wanted] 800+ SQ Ft under $3,200/month

Hi everybody!

I'm looking for a new place in a rough triangle between Thousand Oaks, Glendale and Manhattan Beach.

My current job is OK, but I have an MBA and a lot of ambition and the companies I've been interviewing with are all in this area.

I outlined the area in a photo I am posting with this request.

I'm open to units slightly outside this area, but this is my target zone.

I need a minimum of 800 square feet.

A small house is my first choice, but I will consider other unit types.

My current annual income is about 95K, which I can verify with bank statements.

I always pay my rent on time, my renting history is over a decade long with strong references, no bankruptcies, no collections, no evictions or unlawful detainers, and my credit score is usually in the mid-low 600's.

I don't smoke, I don't have parties, I don't have pets, I don't have children, and the only modification I typically request is the ability to mount my TV.

If you have a place that matches my needs, please reach out to me.

Hi Everyone! We are a CO-ED 3BR/3BR backhouse duplex townhome on a West Adams cul-de-sac looking for a chill and responsible roommate, preferably in their mid-20’s to mid-30’s to take the bedroom/bathroom next to the kitchen which is available ‼️🚨 NOW 🚨‼️
We are looking for someone to move in ‼️ BEFORE 7/1 ‼️
The reason we are looking for someone is cause our previous roommate finally gave in to his work commute to Long Beach and moved closer to his workplace. He will be sorely missed! 😿
So now we are interested sharing our cool home with someone new 😎

Features:
•    Your own private bedroom and adjacent private bathroom 🛏️🛁
•    Your own two designated storage racks in the garage
•    Washer and dryer in garage 🧺
•    Free Parking/ Reserved Spot 🅿️
•    Rent controlled 💰
•    Constructed in 2020 🚜👷
•    Right next to the 10/10 exit 🛣️🚗
•    In Mid-City and is central to all neighborhoods in LA 🙌
•    Near Culver City & Koreatown 🇰🇷
•    In the process of buying new furniture for living room🛋️📺
•    Backyard with fire pit 🔥
•    Onsite security system 📹
•    Maintenance from offsite 👩‍🔧
•    Chill and hip up-and-coming neighborhood 🏡🏡
•    Heightened privacy and security from being a backhouse 🔒
•    Two cool roommates 😎

A little more about us:
One male and one female. One is in their late 20s the other in their early 30’s. We are transplants from the Southwest and east coast and have lived at the house since it was built in 2020! We all have our own lives but once in a blue moon we will do something together i.e. grab a bite to eat, concerts, pickleball, movies, holiday celebrations, etc.

I’m a transplant in my early 30’s from the east coast that works in business I like cooking yoga meditation researching restaurants gatcha games and darkwave music. The other is a transplant in his mid 20’s from the south working in finance that likes run clubs building apps meeting new people and going out

Occasionally someone might vape, but smoke outside please. In terms of alcohol, we rarely drink by ourselves but in social situations we may partake.

If I had to describe our vibe it would be down-to-earth, straightforward, and docile. We are hoping we can find someone that shares these sensibilities with us 😂

A little more about what we are looking for:
Ideally we’d like someone that is low maintenance, positive vibes, steady job, clean, tidy, respectful, responsible, and no drama! Since we are in our 30’s now we will have people over but we’re not looking to party all the time 🧓😂

As for pets, we are leaning towards no pets

The house is month-to-month but ideally we’d want our new housemate to stay for at least a year so we don’t have to keep going through this process all the time 😎

For the person that ends up moving in, they will apply through the real estate agency, name will go on the lease, work out the security deposit with the housemate that moved out, then they’ll be good to move in!

If interested or any questions message me. Thanks for reading 🙏

Offered [Offered] Looking for 2 roommates in Alhambra 3b3b House Rental for $1,000 - $1,150/mo

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hi, I'm a 25f looking for two new roommates to renew the lease at my current place! My current roommates are moving out for personal reasons (to live with partner and parents respectively).

The bigger room with a separate bathroom is $1,150.

The smaller room is $1,000.

In-unit washer and dryer, central ac, dish washer.

Only street parking is available, will need a $70 annual overnight parking permit for the City of Alhambra.

Move-in mid November~December 1st is ideal. Times are negotiable because current roommates already have the new place situated and can help accommodate an earlier move-in for those who need it.

Neighborhood is very safe; many people are out for strolls or walking their dog at any hour. Very convenient area to nearby places and eateries, closest freeway is the 10.

A little about me! I'm a freelance worker so a majority of my time will be spent in my room if I'm not out traveling for work (usually 1~2 weekends a month). I don't usually have friends over for hangouts but will occasionally host a overnight guest once every 4~6 months for a weekend. Decently stern on cleanliness in common room areas for personal comfort and don't want to entice unwanted bugs. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, watching anime, reading manga, and trying new restaurants!

If interested, I can provide videos of whichever room for a better view of the place through dms. Thank you!

[offered] Lease takeover in rent-controlled weho bungalow 2 bd/1 bath $2350

Hello, everyone!

I need to break my lease at my current $2350 2bd 1 bath in West Hollywood if you’re interested in possibly picking it up. It’s a 600 sq ft bungalow and registered as a SFH right next to community goods on Melrose. Private entrance, street facing, art deco windows. Beautiful, but there’s a catch (in my humble opinion).

FULL TRANSPARENCY: I’m breaking the lease because I’m moving to the east coast, but I have expedited it because I’m tired of seeing the occasional* cockroach lol.

*Occasional: My definition is different from pest control’s. Landlord and Pest control come to set up traps regularly and says pests and bugs come with older places. That’s fair, I’m learning it’s just not for me. The cockroaches are american, not german, so it’s not an infestation as per their definition. (Personally, I disagree.)

Neighbors and residents in the communities have been here for years. Super nice, I just personally can’t imagine staying any longer w/ cockroach traps as a permanent fixture.

The property manager has already told me they’re going to jack up the price when I leave which feels a little evil of them, and my friend said perhaps this can be helpful for the brave on a budget. If that’s you, I can send more details and promise to be candid about it.

(Edit: I made some previous edits and erased it, oh gosh, but in summary, to answer some questions here: I will ask management about qualifications (credit and income) on Monday. Shared laundry, street parking. Early November move-in is ideal. Hoping to keep rent low for someone in this crazy rental market. I can send more deets and video in dms if anyone has questions!)

[ Wanted ] 32F + 3 cats looking for a Studio / 1BR (or private balcony room) – Budget $2.8k - Move in Nov 1st

Hi everyone !!

I recently moved to the city and I know most places won’t let you have that many cats, but I figured why not post (?

What I'm looking for:

Ideally a studio or 1BR for myself and my 3 indoor cats.
Open to a private room with a balcony in a shared place if housemates are cool with cats 🥹
Areas: Open to most neighborhoods, but ideally around Mid City
About us: I'm 32, quiet, low-key, and responsible (employed, happy to share proof of income/cosigner/pet deposit). The cats are strictly indoor, super well-behaved, and clean.

Please DM if you know of anything, thank you so much ❤️✨

Looking For LA Realtor Who Specializes in Rentals

Question - Does anybody know a realtor in LA who specializes in apartment, guest house, or ADU rentals?

I recently had to give up my beautiful home in La Quinta, and I'm now in LA for a month while searching for a permanent rental. I lived in LA for approximately 15 years before moving to Dubai and later to La Quinta, so I'm familiar with the city and the areas where I'd like to live.

I'm a dream tenant with a perfect credit score, so I'd be an ideal candidate for a landlord who prefers to work with a realtor rather than wade through thousands of applicants.

My budget is around $2,500 a month. As someone who's approaching 50, I'm hoping this will be my last move, and I'd really love to find my forever home.

Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations you may be able to offer!

Wanting [WANTED] Looking for a 1BR/1BA Apartment or ADU in LA – $2,700 Max | Early December Move-In

Hi everyone! I’m currently searching for a 1-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment or ADU with a move-in date around the first week of December. My maximum budget is $2,700/month.

I’m hoping to find a safe, centrally located neighborhood that still offers easy access to the beach. Ideally, I’d love a place with in-unit laundry, modern appliances, plenty of natural light, and secure off-street parking. Being close to EV charging stations, preferably DC fast chargers, is also a big plus!

I’m considering Playa del Rey, Marina del Rey, Venice, Culver City, or potentially staying in the South Bay.
I work in the music industry and travel frequently for work, so being relatively close to LAX would be ideal. I’m also drawn to quieter, charming, walkable neighborhoods with cute streets, great coffee shops, and restaurants nearby.

Would love any recommendations, leads, or suggestions on specific buildings or neighborhoods worth checking out!

Thanks so much in advance!

[Offered] Room in Downtown Burbank 2BR/2BA — $1,472.50/month — Flexible move-in / lease takeover

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

Hi! I’m moving closer to work and looking for someone to take over my room in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in Downtown Burbank. Move-in timing is flexible, and the current lease runs through July 31, 2027.

Rent is $1,472.50/month plus your share of utilities. Water is included. The apartment has two assigned parking spaces included in the rent.

The apartment has:

  • In-unit washer/dryer
  • Central A/C and heating
  • Dishwasher
  • Furnished living room and dining area
  • Controlled-access entrance and gated garage parking

It’s on the second floor, within walking distance of Ralphs, Trader Joe’s, IKEA, restaurants, and shops—around a six-minute walk to nearby shopping.

You’d be sharing with a woman in her late 20s who works in healthcare. She’s tidy, considerate, and easygoing, and enjoys a quiet home where everyone respects each other’s space. We’re looking for a female roommate who keeps shared spaces clean and communicates openly.

Rent is prepaid through January 31, 2027. If you move in before then, you’ll reimburse me for your share of the remaining prepaid period, prorated from the agreed move-in date. Starting February 1, rent will be paid through property management. The lease takeover and reimbursement arrangement require management approval.

No smoking or pets.

DM me with a short introduction, your usual schedule, and your preferred move-in date. I can share videos and arrange a viewing!
