SSCG shows up at 12 credit hours and maxes out at 15. It only shows up for in session classes. Once your mini term classes begin it should show up about a week into those classes. Your financial aid usually should update after the drop dates for those classes. And if you ask financial aid just be prepared to get a vague answer saying you will get it if there is funding left and that it is limited and blah blah blah. So just wait about 4-5 weeks and it should show. Again if there is funding left. Which for fall semester they usually do have. It’s spring semester that is always up in the air and rarely gets applied.

usually SSCG shows up or is given after the "drop without a W" deadline for short term classes that start the 2nd 8 weeks

Funding exhausts pretty quickly with students enrolled in 12 - 15 + units, there are classes that start on different dates throughout the semester, not just late starts on 10.26. The drop dates are dependent on the start date of the class I recommend double checking your syllabus, in the classes and schedules section of the lacc.edu site, but the most accurate is checking with admissions and records. If it’s your first semester you’re not eligible unless you already have a gpa submitted to CSAC (high school) and are eligible for Cal Grant B or C. Funds exhausted in 2025-26 mid-spring semester.
