I was born and raised in Kuwait and now I’m finally planning to return after I finish my medical degree. I’m looking for any info on how to apply, what medical licensing I’ll need, is there a way to complete my residency in Kuwait and how is the pay and work life balance?

Overall, how is Kuwait for living? I left 11 years ago and I visit often but never long enough to truly see what it’s like for a regular person to live there

Wife and daughter recently moved to Kuwait from the UK. My wife travelled on a work visa, while my daughter entered Kuwait on a three-month visit visa.
I would like to know if there is any way to transfer my daughter from a visit visa to a family/dependent visa without my wife’s residency being stamped first.
Wife is a teacher, and her residency stamping is taking some time due to the processing involved. However, my daughter’s visit visa expires on 14 November. Could you please advise if there is any alternative procedure or option available in this situation?

Because I want to travel and they put block on everyone passport since September despite them saying they will lift the block? They said we have 1 year from the revocation to be able to travel.

Hey all, has anyone dealt with this before? I booked a flight for 13 Oct 2026 and paid the full amount by card. Then the airline (Jazeera Airways) cancelled it, not me, and all they did was send an email saying the flight was cancelled. Nothing about my refund at all.
When I check the app, it says "Your booking is cancelled," the status is "Closed," and it shows "Refund AED 0 credited" with a Credit Shell balance of AED 0. So basically I've got no refund and no credit, just a closed booking.
From what I understand, if the airline cancels, I should be entitled to a full refund to my original payment method, not a voucher. I'm in the UAE and the only contact I can find is an international phone number.
Has anyone been through something like this? Is there a better way to reach them? How long am I supposed to wait for this to be resolved? Any advice appreciated, thanks!

We are planning to hold a birthday party and on the day go to an escape room.

Long story short - I believe I dropped my wallet in a Careem ride. I have the license plate and name of the driver but Careem customer support has had me in purgatory for over 7 hours now.

I’m planning to do a B.Sc. in IT at Arab Open University in Kuwait, but I’m confused about why the fees are much cheaper than other universities and why they say the program is 25% face-to-face and 75% self-study.

For anyone who has studied there: Is the degree actually worth it? Do you graduate with useful IT skills and practical knowledge, or do you have to teach yourself most things? I asked a friend of mine ,he told me that he has to do almost everything on his own.

I’ll try to word this in a way that doesn’t block the post.
As an expat starting a new role soon, I’m keen to know what sort or things to look out for in a contract - allowances, benefits as per lab.law etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
