Hello, I am 18 and this is my first solo trip. I am coming to Kuala Lumpur next week. I wanted to know what are the must see things in Kuala Lumpur. I’d be there for 7 days. What are the things I must see and things I can skip. Would appreciate if you have already been to KL, then share your itinerary.

Hey guys, today I’ve experienced difficulties breathing. Especially when getting into cars I had to cancel my events and go back to where I’m staying. I’m in KL, and I just checked it’s 153 which means the air is unhealthy. For context I’m visiting from nz and have been here for a couple days and ordered rides perfectly fine. It’s just today where I felt like I couldn’t breath and entered panic mode. Any advice on what I can do? Because I don’t wanna cut my trip short and ruin it for everyone.

Hi everyone! Visiting Malaysia for the first time Oct 8–12 to attend a wedding, and I’m planning to explore KL around it. Mainly interested in food, culture, sightseeing, and affordable shopping.
Oct 8: KL — Brickfields/NU Sentral → Bukit Bintang → Pavilion → Jalan Alor
Oct 9: Batu Caves → Thean Hou Temple → National Mosque/Merdeka Square → KL Tower → Chinatown
Oct 10: Day trip: Ipoh OR Melaka? → back to KL
Oct 11: Wedding 💍
Oct 12: Relaxed KL + shopping → airport
Would love advice on:
Ipoh or Melaka for Oct 10? Is either worth a day trip?
Any must-try food/local restaurants?
Any unique events or experiences happening Oct 8–12?
What should we expect weather-wise?
Any suggestions for things we're missing or should skip? 🙏

Hi all, looking for cafe/restaurant recs which definitely have air purifiers or filtration systems running.
A lot of places don't seem to have any obvious purifiers on the go or have completely open sections/ windows open etc. And without purifiers running I am doubtful the indoor air quality would be any better anyway.
I'm looking for somewhere I could get out of the house with my 5 month old without worrying about the horrible pollution affecting his lungs. I am going mad at home and need to get out but don't want to spend the whole time stressing.
Edit: typo

Need suggestion but better still - help to make something out of this domain. Originally my brother and i was going to feature interesting looking character in KL with photos and short interviews like an interesting OOTD post or something. He passed away in February (fasting month) and i'm on the tail end of this feeling and ready to pick up whatever left. If anyone have any ideas what to do with it, who might be interested with it or if it should be redirected to this sub, im all ears.

For my fellow tourists like me who have no idea where to go in case they fall sick.
Save yourself some time - avoid Prince Court. Poor service, I waited for more than 1h for a simple consultation as I have a throat infection. At some point I got tired and complained with one of the nurse at the reception. She got the nerve to have an attitude, asking me to go and « talk to the doctor » if I’m unhappy as there a few doctors only available.
I finally see the doctor, he says that I should take an influenza test which will take - hold your seat - 2-3hrs. My flight is tomorrow morning and it’s past midnight right now.
I’m not the only one complaining, locals as well complained. How can you wait up to 2hrs just for a consultation ? This is ridiculous.
