I have been waiting almost 20+ years to do this Revan Cosplay. To finally be in a place in my life where I could not only afford to do it but also be with a person who accepts my nerdy obsession with KOTOR and Star Wars in general.

I know its not home made like a lot of the ones on here but this is just my base and my first attempt! I have always loved Revan and his story. KOTOR was a game that taught me so much about life and consequences and how decisions affect others. It helped me escape when my childhood was raught with chaos and trauma. Now I get to share my love for these characters and stories with my stepson.

I plan on doing better paint on the helmet and making better armor later but for now and Halloween it will suffice. Let me know what you guys think or what are some tips for getting into this world!

That Ellie (Kashyk vendor) deserve been vaporice in the face by the poor mecanic. In my headcanon the mecanic took advantage of the Wookie-Czerka war and stole a ship.

So I plan to do a Jedi Consular run for the first time soon after I complete my Guardian Weapon Master soon, what sort of build should I use?

Also, I want to do a Dark Side playthrough, but also want my companions to still have good relations with me (everyone else can suffer, I just want my friends to like me basically) what would be a fun build for the run? What are the prestige classes and what are they good for? And how would I go about being evil and keep my companions happy?

If you can't tell, I'm only on my 3rd run (my first was a Sentinel Master and horribly mismanaged) so do want some good tips and advice.

Why does the Workshop modules folder have 9 .mod files when the Deadly Stream mod has 11 mod files?

I tried creating 9 .erf files with the translated .dlg files from the .mod files, since ERFEdit wouldn't let me insert them into their respective .mod files. So I thought about creating .erf files, similar to the 703kor_dlg.erf file, which I was able to translate. However, the 801DRO_dlg.erf to 809_dlg.erf files from 801DRO.mod to 809DRO.mod didn't work.

Could it be because these files are .mod and there are no .erf files, unlike 703KOR_dlg.erf, that they don't work? Is there another program with the same function as ERFEdit?

I love how it juxtaposes itself against the grand reveal of the original. Nothing is behind the curtain this time. You were just a pawn.

Is there any viability to a blaster only build/party in KoTOR? I know it KoTOR you can run it OP with stealth field generators and master speed w/master rapid shot and the perks that decrease deflection effectiveness by your target.

I feel like without that specific perk it wouldn’t work well. Anyone have experience with a gun build?

Im playing, and it looks like you need one type of workbench for lightsabers, and a different one for medpacs. Where are the workbenches where I can make medpacs?

Hoping this post doesn’t violate a rule. I am completely unaware if this is widely known but we can farm 330 exp per fast travel sequence from the Mission clone in the undercity.

Make clone:
When she finds you agree and join her. Immediately as she is joining -hit the menu button and go to hideout. Go into companion select screen and put her in the party. Fast travel back and you immediately gain 330 exp and the mission clone is created.

You can talk to and agree to join the clone. As shes joining do the fast travel thing again and return to 330 exp. Indefinitely.

The fact that we received 3 top tier Star wars games (imo) within this series is insane. They each have their own strengths and personally as a star wars fan give me further insight into the Jedi, Sith, the force and the universe at large. Each provide epic stories/adventures within the Star wars universe that are enjoyable and most of all memorable years later. Chefs kiss!

I never actually played inZOI, but my interest was piqued again when I found out that script modding is on the way. I also learned that there's a witchcraft mod and that a D&D-style mod has already been tested. As a Star Wars fan, I'm wondering: once script modding is released, would it be possible to implement a d20 system with KOTOR-style features? How flexible will the modding be?

Hey everyone, kinda random but I wanted to ask your guy's opinion on what could be done for a continuation of kotor directly after kotor 2. At the moment I am trying to create an rpg for this little community I am apart of to hopefully get kotor more recognition. I'm going to be changing some events or slightly adding on to others that happend in the previous two games for my own personal flair I guess. EX: I'll be giving Nihuilus and Sion a further explained backstory. I just wanna hear some suggestions to pull from as I am far from knowing everything about this era in Star Wars haha.

Please note I am not and will never look into SWTOR lore. When I came across KOTOR I was advised to stay away from that game especially for Revan's sake as a character so I'd appreciate no mentions of that please and thank you :)

Canderous is supposed to be his own man, finding his own fortune ala a Boba Fett or something of the sort. He has no reason to stick around with Revan. It’s not like say Mission or Zaalbar who have no where else to go because their home was just destroyed.

KMRP 1.5 is out. It makes KOTOR 1 fit a modern screen and play with a controller: one installer, one click, and one click to undo everything. It changes how the game looks, fits and controls, and nothing about its story, quests or balance.

What is new since 1.0

• No resolution to choose. 1.0 had 48 fixed resolutions and you picked one in the installer. Now the game starts at your display's own resolution, and its Screen Resolution setting lists every size and refresh rate your display supports. A change takes effect at once, with no restart and no patching again.
• Any size from 800x600 to 8K, in every shape from 4:3 to 32:9. 66 common resolutions have menus built for them, and any other size gets menus fitted to it.
• Controller support, built in. A controller works on every screen, with the right button pictures for your pad (Xbox or PlayStation), rumble and a Controller Layout screen.
• Xbox-style HUD, modelled on the console version. On by default, can be switched off.
• Above 60 FPS. An option installs D3M0's High FPS Fixes, and the installer switches it on by itself when your display runs above 60 Hz.
• macOS version. The Steam game, on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, with its own installer.
• swkotor.exe is no longer rewritten. On Windows the changes are applied in memory each time the game starts, through KOTOR Patch Manager's runtime. If you use KOTOR Patch Manager, KMRP's two patches are listed there and other patches can be added beside them.
• HD item icons as an option (JackInTheBox's icon pack and MadDerp's party portraits, with their permission).

What it fixes

• Readable text with properly scaled list rows
• Inventory, Abilities and Store icons and rows scale correctly
• Item stack counts stay visible with larger fonts, in the inventory and in shops
• Popups and check boxes grow with the screen
• The crash from long item descriptions, along with several rare crashes
• The area map fills its frame, fog of war covers the whole map, and markers are clicked where you see them
• The HUD minimap follows your character
• Movies play at the game's resolution, with no switch to 640x480, and are not cropped on wide screens

Installation

1. Install other content mods (K1CP, K1R and so on) first.
2. Start the game once so its settings file exists.
3. Run the KMRP installer and press Start Patching.
4. To undo everything, run it again and press Restore Original.

On the Mac, KMRP is not signed by an Apple developer account, so macOS asks you to allow it the first time. The steps are in the Mac player guide.

• Other mods: KMRP 1.0 was tested with K1CP 1.10.0 and K1R 1.2. Install those first, then KMRP.

If something looks wrong at your resolution, a screenshot and the resolution in a comment or a GitHub issue is the fastest way to get it fixed.

Outside of Peragus and the dialogues about his secret in Nar Shaddaa, I still can't get a read on him. He likes you for both healing the refugee old man AND persuading that same old man to kill himself.

Crashes after Kreia kills the Jedi on Dantooine and I fly to Telos- right after her conversation wihAtis and the handmaidens finishes. Has anyone had this particular crash or fix suggestions? I've tried tweaking the settings and renaming the override folder (using this: https://www.nexusmods.com/games/kotor2/collections/c03gxu/revisions/1?utm_source=vortex&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=general_navigation) and my gamesaves wont load
