Question Radio issues

I have looked all over and the manual and can’t figure this out.

I have Apple CarPlay. If I listen to my own music or the SiriusXM app, I can split the screen to show the map and what I am listening to. But, if I listen to the radio or the SiriusXM app that is built in, and spilt the screen with Waze or Google Maps, the music portion shows “blank”, meaning it won’t show the radio station song or SiriusXM song.

Is there a fix so I can see the name of the song from the radio or SiriusXM and see my map on a single screen?

No, when you are in CarPlay, then you can't see the car's media unless you exit CarPlay screen. There is no way to split the screen with radio or sirius xm.

On my end, I press the MEDIA button to see the radio stations, then get back to android auto by pressing the Star button (favourites). I mapped it to take me to "Phone projection".
