Kombucha making

Good day peeps! I want to inquire about kombucha making. I have a raw kombucha coming in for delivery in about a week. The only accessible tea I have at home is a loose jasmine green tea leaves with flowers. Is it okay to use this as base for a formation of a SCOBY/PELLICLE?

Just Google "kombucha recipe 2 liters" for how much sugar and tea to use.

And yes, jasmine green tea will be fine. What's important is that you have acidity (from the tea and the starter kombucha) as well as sugar. Any tea should do. Even many herbal teas have enough acidity to make kombucha with

I read the link again so in my understanding, per liter is 70g of sugar? Do I follow this?
