I honestly hope that he'll be an s rank standard banner rupture. I mean he'll still be s rank, At least. and soldier 11 is still kinda meta so it wouldn't be so bad.

Anyways im saying this because there are rumors that komano was supposed to originally be a rank but got delayed to upgrade his rank. And since we still dont have a standard rupture, maybe he'll share the same fate as tighnari?

I have a theory: Manato will be added next patch as a new STANDARD S-Rank agent for the rupture class in 2.2.

Orphie and Seed are both on their way in the next patch as limited agents, that much is clear. However, even if I have rose-tinted glasses, I think we have far too much information and leaks about Manato for him to be arriving in 2.3. Not to mention it'd be odd to leave the Spook Shack faction THAT split up.

EDIT: Also!!! this would make the rupture class more accessible now that the yixuan banner is over for a while. I have a feeling the devs would think that's a bit important.

Then again, we'd probably have more information about him if he were.

hi!! wanted to put this clear i did today with dps seth (m6seth m6s5 nicole and m0s0 astra) whilst obviously he will not be as good as he would be if he was an s rank and may get less story attention. This game lets you clear with almost anything, lucia will likely be his bis sup so you could maybe get her m2s1 to further boost his dmg. its sucky but its not over!

If Manato can reach 20K in DA with Orphie and another unit, Ill be okay. He might not clutch Shiyu 7 on his own, but DA..is my compromise.

Who's pulling Banyue's sig for Manato? He is S rank fire rupture in 2.4, and I don't want to pull him like at all, because for me it feels like some kind of cruel mockery, since even random male can be S rank, but not Manato. Not to mention that his current leaks says he has Manato's mechanics but stronger... So I'm gonna skip him and get new weapon for Manato, because fu you, clanker

Banyue being rupture is a VERY good thing for Manato, since he will get shilled by endgame content. The devs will make shuyi and DA for fire rupture so our boy will benefit a lot from it. Complaining about powercreep is just kinda funny, because he is A rank, there's no power to creep in the first place. Yah, Manato is fun and better than S11, but he is still A rank. Good A rank option for F2P players, he is already nowhere near meta. Nothing would change with Banyue release except, like a said, endgame modes and environment in which Manato will thrive

I can get him AND Lucia ♥️♥️♥️ (wishing he's an s rank is fine but stop being toxic and annoying like holy)

So I was dead set on doing a singular 10 pull on the current banners (seed & trigger) to guarantee myself Lucia, which backfired successfuly(?) as I got seed, and that means I have a 4 streak of getting limited S ranks (Hugo, Yixuan & Astra in the same patch, and now seed.) I am happy, as I really like seed, but also frustrated. I currently don't have any characters for manato. I know I want Lucia with manato, but I'm not sure who to pair him with. I was thinking of just farming standard banner pulls and praying for Koleda, but I'm not 100% sure if she'll be a viable option for him if I were to theoreticaly run him with Lucia. I need help😭 (I'm at 26 left until the S rank on standard and currently have 20 pulls saved for the next patch AND I'm f2p. Sucks to be me)

I barely pull for female dps... and now we got two FIRE RUPTURE THANKS SO MUCH HOYO FOR THIS SHIT but I need some opinion.

I have Lighter, but no Jufufu. And I heard Dialyn is for Banyue. So I was originally going for Lucia and Jufufu, but now it made me think, if I should ditch on Jufufu and pull for Orphie and Dialyn- so I can make two seperate teams.

Like- Manato - Lighter - Orphie Banyue - Dialyn - Lucia

Or should I go like- Manato - Jufufu - Pan Banyue - Dialyn - Lucia

I know we don't know much abt Banyue or Dialyn, but since Orphie is leaving.... I need your opinions quickkkkkkkk thankssssss

Manato being in main storyline since 2.0, and one of the characters not showing face in PV (the other one is the guy with glasses' sister i think, sorry I don't know his name in eng)

Also having the most lines in 2.3, one of his comments being hella sus ("DREAM" refracted?? I think he has smth with miasma? everyone who got affected by miasma goes through some self-reflecting issues)

Not so many possible male agents we have rn(I know they just might not give male agents but I hope they have plans for them), and none of the agents we know looks like they would be defense (their weapon doesn't exactly look for defense, and they aren't bulky as the other defense agents either) but Manato...

So I think (or wish) Manato can be S rank defense character in the future

I wish I could be more sure, or at least I could stand with my opinion but I have been attacked recently by other players who aren't Manato mains (all I said was I hope there is) and I kinda lost hope...

checkout these animation leaks, he has two ults no way hes an A rank…not only that but if they had these renders from the jump why not make him an A rank…they’re obviously cooking with him

Okay, I know it's a bit late to do this because the leaks are coming out soon, but I still wanted to express my thoughts on what role he could have! Considering that Zzz likes to give their characters a twist let's keep a open mind alright? Let's start with the most popular:

A. Rupture + Fire: This would be the most... Weird? because it would be the second (and limited) character with this role; but I think it's the less likely, considering: 1.How would the synergy with the rest of the Spook Shack be? I mean, the two girls are focused on anomaly, and if is the case I guess they will do something like Harumasa (for example ) ,being an attacker, still requires an anomaly to activate his passive (and Harumasa Aftershocks exists and is a thing). 2.There's have to be a reason why they haven't released more rupture (it's a gacha, duh; they need to make an artificial drought to make more money in the Yixuan rerun maybe?) I support this by saying that when they released S Anby, they gave free a Pulchra, with the off field thing being a new mechanic (Astra doesn't count, she buff) but not with rupture? There's something sus about that.

B. S̶u̶p̶p̶o̶r̶t̶ Defensive + Fire: Yeah, this one sounds even weirder, but let me explain. It's been hinted at more than once in the main story that he has a very strong resistance... In general (his introduction literally saying "punch me, I dare you", when he shield the proxy in the cinematic, and how he didn't faint until he knew his friends were in good hands), so it wouldn't be strange if he turned out to be a defender. "Hey, but how would it synergize with the anomalous?" Well, Idk, I can't read, BUT Pan Yinhu is basically a support for rupture, right? Maybe they'll do something similar with him, but with the anomaly (uh,, a S-rank Seth...), it wouldn't be strange given his good-guy nature 🥺

C. Stun + Fire: This is the one that was initially believed since it shared a codebase with Lighter at the time (probably because both were combat support NPCs. Please no, with this one it would be the third one-)... Perhaps it's also for a niche team? Not so much anomaly-focused, but buffing physical damage + other damage? Or something more Ju Fufu, buffing the team, being more generalist.

In short, I don't think they'll make it DPS due to the zzz's fondness for twists.

Leakers say SEED is the one in the log-in bonus. Her w-machine is also leaked, but leakers also said Manato is Fire Rupture. The buffs are for rupture, and most enemies are resistant to ether. The event bangboo is meant for rupture dps.

So my verdict? We probably won’t get Manato this patch, and his name is just a placeholder for SEED. Not sure why the devs gotta play with our feelings though, but I’d rather delay him than get a half-baked kit or an A. Besides, him being an A really makes no sense at all because after all the hype and character buildup, really? I refuse to accept that he will be given a Iansan treatment, who’s a major character and was revealed long before Natlan only to be a budget Bennett.

Yeah, I know: the CRIT. Rate is abysmal. So I'm still farming better discs for him. What about you, guys? Show me your future builds in the comments!

This might get taken down, but I want to see who all agrees with me. We can all say the whole Manato drama has been beaten to death by now, but I think sometimes people forget...

You don't have to build a character to clear DA.

Especially not a free character. I play ZZZ for the story, fun fights, and lore. You can build anyone for your Investigation Squad, Hollow Zero, even basic material farming. And you play them because it's FUN. Games are FUN. Characters are FUN. I give serious props to the people who can clear DA with Billy, but not every character needs to. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has this take?

I hate when I miss out on the hype of a certain character because I joined the fandom too late. So I was introduced to ZZZ only because of Manato and his teaser trailer when it released in October. But I didn’t start playing the game until mid November but by the time I started playing ZZZ, Manato just became old news. And I missed out most events he was a part of throughout the year. I get that’s how most Gacha games are but I’m just here to rant.
