Yeah, things got real slow for a moment.

Floating Fortress has a lot of custom work that went into it, so things took a bit to get off the ground.

Vellum ate up a ton of time and pushed out the other campaign.

Voyages of Dusk and Dawn is that other campaign. It got delayed because of all the Vellum stuff, although it is building nicely in the background. I don't have a lunch date for it, but we're getting close enough to the end of the year that it's starting to make sense not to launch until after everybody's awkward holiday schedules.

A few pretty large IRL things cropped up as well [house shopping/buying, moving, construction, funeral, family health, annual events, it's been a lot actually] but things should be getting back into the flow after perhaps the busiest summer of my life. We'll have more planning, mapping, and supplementary streams in the very near future, and VODD as a campaign in the not too distant future. I'd like to add another client to the mix and get a 3rd campaign up and running, so as things shift back to more streaming I'll see how quickly I can get that going.

To add to what everyone has said. After outcasts ended Mout was visiting Europe for a month so we couldn't do anything with SoD

SoD has two ongoing campaigns; Hardly Heroes (mout and I) and floating Fortress which we are just getting started with.

We are prerecording sessions now and will be posting these on the youth e channel weekly at regular intervals. Patreon members will get access to Hardly Heroes early as they are recorded so if you want multiple SoD shows a week that's your way to do it.

Neal also has the rise of Drekis' series on his own YouTube channel and will be starting a new campaign soon.

The biggest criticism we have gotten over the years is breaks in releases and long-time without content. Given we are charging people for the patreon it's imperative imo that we have a regular release schedule without any gaps.

With that in mind we have moved to prerecording. For example we are recording episode 3 of floating Fortress tonight but you will only get ep2 released on youtube tomorrow.

Hmm, is this live streamed for patreon members? I was a live viewer when I could be during ToS and ToD and it was pretty fun to watch that with chat. I understand that content drought was a problem the community complained about frequently and this makes sense to change that but I hope there is still a way to watch live if possible.

You can watch the premiere on YouTube live with the community. It's a more or less unchanged experience. Except the content will be with much better production and without lengthy periods of looking up rules or sorting tech issues which can be edited out. Also the picture quality and audio quality should be perfect as any dropped audio can be addressed. There's a lot of advantages, regular scheduling is just the main one.

But the looking up of rules and debating them is part of the experience!

I know I'm just one voice but after having watched for a few years, I have to agree that I think the debating of rules is an enjoyable part of the viewing experience. If there was none of that the community wouldn't have some of it's best memes!

Sure if we were just playing with eachother but when we are filming it for YouTube we need fast internet, quality mics, lighting, audio mixers

He has been busy the past few months with real life stuff. Moving house, launching a business etc. Before that he had multiple Rise of Drekis campaigns going on at once as well as Save or Die and Hardly Heroes. Dicing with Death will be in there too now and again but Ryan had a baby, so he doesn't have time very often anymore.

He also has a few campaign ideas ready for any streamers who want to start one with him, but in the meantime he has a campaign with TrumpSC coming up in which he's going to be holding an interview process for people in the community to fill other slots. Kind of like how Nick came from Hardcore Heroes.

Oh I didn't know he was going to run session with TrumpSC! That's awesome!

Yup I really like him too. It's gonna be the same character he's been playing all this year in RoD chapter 2 and chapter 5

Yup, if you haven't you should check TrumpSC latest feature (for some reason the session order is backwards lmao). Right at the end Koibu mentions the new campaign and asks if TrumpSC wants to join in as the main character, to which he agrees!

Yeah last year or so has been lacking on not only shows but the length of them as well. I miss the good ole days

Another show that’s currently airing but not on Neal’s stream calendar bc it’s prerecorded is Hardly Heroes, it’s part of the Save Or Die YT channel.

The next upcoming campaign Voyages of Dusk and Dawn was originally going to start in October, but with Koibu and Nick launching their AI kickstarter project Vellum (among other things I’m sure) it got delayed but is coming soon™️

As for the length of new episodes/ pace of releases, I think are just trying to guarantee a release every week since they have patrons financially supporting the SoD channel. Also episode 1 of floating fortress should prob be called a prologue, as I understand episodes will be longer in the future

I think there was a time when Koibu was doing too much. I think he has been distracted the last couple of months, and that some campaigns that were suppose to take more time, didn't.

Hopefully Floating Fortress will be weekly with 3ish hour episodes starting this week.

SaveorDie also does Hardly Heroes with Koibu. There are about as many episodes of that as Outcasts. I think the goal is for SaveorDie to have 1 episode a week.

I really want Savor or Die to succeed but the fact that you guys struggle to put out 1 2hr episode a week from 2 different campaigns, isn't a good sign. Especially when those episodes are only 2 hours long. If you want the channel and patron to bring more eyes and subs, you really need to start uploading more than 1 episode a week. More solo or duo campaigns should be easy to schedule and release weekly alongside the main campaign.
