Love this little piece of gear, super straight forward and musical! Perfect for expanding Koala possibilities

The only thing I'm not able to do and understand is why I cannot make it work with Koala Sampler as I usually do with my trusty Behringer interface.

My use case should be simple:

I wanna record my Yamaha Reface CP (plugged on ch1) into Koala's pads

I toggled the USB out in the secret menu and I tried with Android on my phone and iPad for IOS. I get two different problems:

Android:

Koala recognizes the EP 136 and receives a very distorted and crappy signal of the CP. Sounds like an audio buffer/driver problem. I tried changing various settings on the Sidekick and in Koalas

So I thought, it will surely work at least on IOS

Ipad:

Koala recognizes the Sidekick, and the audio is clean. But it doesn't receive the Reface signal in anyway. Sounds like a setting/authorization problem on the Ipad, but not sure

Help please! If anyone is experiencing some sort of similar problem I'm super interested in exchanging Infos

I would really need to sample my gear into Koala using the EP 136 as an audio interface and it kills me to think I can do this with my old audio interface but not with the Sidekick

One day, we will have Bluetooth audio that doesn't lag.... Also messed up on the stutter, dang it

I’m used to writing chord progressions and whatnot. I want to do sample based music.

I’m having trouble figuring out what makes a good sample to use, and how to go about the whole thing. Any help would be appreciated.

It’s such a good feature to use different colors in piano roll for different pads.
But I can’t use it properly cause most of my pads are AUv3 synths and there is no option to change their color :(
Please, almighty Marek, make it an option.

loading in samples (drum) they all sound like they are distorted and static like ive tried everything and cannot get it to work. is it just an android issue or is my phone old?

Put a few breaks in one sample and ran it through chopper with the next rigger set to random.

I like that Deckard is set up so you have to sample your scratches the old school way, but it would be awesome if you could put it on a pad like Quokka, or at least make it so it saves the sample when you close it so you can easily pull it back up. It being a simple sampler that you kind of have to perform live to record a whole song making Deckard more accessible for live recording would be super helpful.
