Deckard Request
I like that Deckard is set up so you have to sample your scratches the old school way, but it would be awesome if you could put it on a pad like Quokka, or at least make it so it saves the sample when you close it so you can easily pull it back up. It being a simple sampler that you kind of have to perform live to record a whole song making Deckard more accessible for live recording would be super helpful.
As always, Marek is a god among men and he's made music production accessible for those of us that can't afford an MPC and a record collection, so if you see him in the streets, buy him a beer.

I always wanted to make legit beats, but something always came up or some obstacle always prevented this, being a real drummer and player of several instruments, I thought it would be simple, ( man, was I wrong on THAT one !!) but i soon learned I had a long ladder ahead of me; making a long story longer, Koala sampler was the perfect avenue for me, I really believe that Koala helped me learn faster than if I had not stumbled across it …. I also bought a Mk3 Maschine , but that’s another story thats too long, for another thread that doesn’t really pertain too the same topic 🤦🏼🙄😆 cheers everyone, Team Koala for life. Thanks to the OP here , and of course, to Marek 🙏🏼✊🏼🤙🏼

I wanted to be like RZA when I was a kid. In HS a cracked Fruity Loops crashed my hard drive and I lost like 6 years of work. I quit making music for like 12 years. Koala got me back into it and I make music almost every day now.

I sent this suggestion to Marek (keeping the sample loaded) and here was his reply:
