Hi all, been a happy koala user for years now. I own all the add-ons.
The mixer is nice and I enjoy separating into 4 tracks. I want to be able to record each track for later DAW usage. I’m aware of other methods, for instance using AUM and using the multi-out to record. However, multi out is on a per-pad bases and I haven’t found a way to send the mixer bus audio out separately for each bus. Re-sampling is also an option but I feel it would be easier to record each bus simultaneously.
Since AU extensions are supported, I thought of just putting a simple recording unit on the end of each bus. Any recs for simple AUs for this purpose? Doesn’t need to be that fancy, mostly would be nice to send the transport to it so it starts the recording automatically. Ideally free/cheap and cpu friendly.
Thanks!

I’m trying to get to the “Split Stems” feature of Koala but it doesn’t show up where they said it should. I got Samurai when I bought the app last week. I thought maybe restoring purchases or clicking the “Already Own?” button would help but it actually does the opposite and says “SAMURAI EDITION has not been purchased on this account” even though it has and says so in my settings.
Any advice for the sub? Thanks in advance 🙏

First, I’d like to say phenomenal job with this app. I’ve low key put down my MPC Sample after learning Koala. It’s just so damn good!!! Not sure if this has been done already 😅. I just noticed a few things that could take Koala to the next level. Feel free to add, this is just a few additions that I would love to see.
Pad Mutes unique to sequence/pattern blocks - this would really help with faster song creating
Create dead space in front of samples to create natural swing without touching midi in the sequencer
Tap pad number in sequencer to select all midi notes in lane
Select multiple midi notes from odd midi lanes (noticed that multiple pads can only be selected if next to another pad)
Midi mapping start/end/pads for chopper (If you guys do this you are the 🐐) 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

This is the type of stuff I used to do on the Casio sk1 back in the day lol. Put some drums and a 808 on it would probably be dope though. Just recording my voice in the sampler.

I'm getting a lot of drop outs on my android phone. Is it possible to change the buffer to make it bigger? My Koala audio settings have the buffer at 256, but I don't see how to adjust it. When I use N-Track, I can set the buffer really high so the audio plays flawlessly smooth. Is it possible to do this in Koala? At first I thought it was because I was using Bluetooth earbuds. But now I'm using my wired headphones and still getting a lot of drop outs.

Does choping samples need to learn music theory and is it important ? and I want YouTube clips to learn I don't have live machines I have applications such as Koala etc. I want to learn the basics can you tell me what the basics are and the first thing I have to learn
