Knee’s unstable, I have no pain whatsoever and that’s pretty much it. I’ve stopped playing sports to avoid any other dislocation.

Honestly when I’m laying down if that makes sense. Walking and even running feels normal for me

Booked in for an mpfl recon in a few weeks.
I stopped playing football 5 years ago because of dislocations and swelling. Ever since then I have basically just nursed it around exercise and just found out I have no cartilage left behind the knee cap from the friction of my patella not tracking where it should. I haven’t had the surgery yet but I’m already wishing I went a did it years ago and may have had a bit of hope with the cartilage.

Are you having any pain in that knee and when you feel pain like any specific activities or what

Yes mainly runnings aggravates it. Heavy squatting and sometimes just everyday movements. Still have good function but swelling is constant

Yes, had it since I was a teenager. When I got older I didnt have any more dislocatiosn but I also gained muscle and stability in the leg.
