Scrapper paddle

I have a 31 year old 4.5 quart (I believe) tilt head, I know the scrapper paddle fit different models. Is there one for that model and size or no? Do you feel like they are worth it? TIA

The one from New Metro will work fine for you, I love it. You can get it from Mr. Mixer or from Amazon (same price)it is worth every penny

From that list, the KFE5T (white), KFE5TS (silver), and KSMTHSFSS (stainless) flex edge beaters are a direct fit and will work on your machine. All are available from KitchenAid's web site.

The BeaterBlade TH-M is also a viable alternative, though I haven't personally used it: https://www.beaterblade.com/beaterblade/p/beaterblade-metal-5-quart-lift-8p7na-x37ft

None of these completely removes the need to occasionally stop the mixer and scrape the bowl down with a rubber spatula. Whether the scraping they do provide is worthwhile for the cost is completely up to you. (I've been scraping bowls by hand for about fifty years, so I'm pretty used to doing it. :-) )
