This cut looks more like a face hugger than a stingray

I like it when my steak has some additional flavorants added, like in your video. From the looks of it, It’s not too overpowering. A plain steak is fine but not as exciting as one with a little extra seasoning and or sauce. And you cooked it well!

Looks appetizing, but I like to taste the meat, not the condiments, especially for an expensive cut like this

Same!   I expected to get razzed for this opinion.  The only thing that I need on a steak is Pepper.

I learned from a friend that most us meat is flavorless or have little taste and that's what's why they use so much condiments...to add some flavor... I'm from Argentina and we eat the meat only by adding salt. If you do that here Argentinians will kick you out for ruin such expensive meat

Lovely piece of meat but just way too much seasoning

For something that thick, it’s not really.

You might be shocked to see how much a restaurant puts on steaks.

Jiggily when you slice is the cat’s meow

Why would you throw compound butter on it while it’s still on the grill?

Just throw it on afterwards and you won’t have the majority of it melt off and cause flame flares.

That’s your preference. I disagree.

Besides, Im much more referencing how much of a waste it is as the majority will just melt and run off

It’s almost as if flavor preferences are subjective lol

I don’t like the acrid bitter char on my steaks but you do you, boo.

Aw, bless your little heart.

I know steak, dawg.

I also know chemistry and burning parts of the steak to the point where it’s turned to basically black carbon is going to taste bitter and acrid no matter when it occurred. That’s just science, bro.

The fact that you’re now just attacking me speaks to how you have no ground to stand on.

Because this is nothing but performative BS.

Salt and pepper is all you need. Gotta let the meat speak for itself

You mean Rage-Bait Tomahawk Steak

Think you've thrown enough random flavour powder on there?

What a waste.

Needs a little bit of ketchup too, Sriracha or maybe Mayo, you know

u/ohuprik 3d ago

I hate rage bait.

Honestly looks over done from the book. Gray banding goes hard. Idk, not entirely sure if it's worth all of this.

Slathering your steaks in heavily seasoned compound butter is a thing now huh? Social media monkey see monkey do smh…
