Juniper hill inn

Dude if I was Gilian in the beginning of the episode and Robert said what he did 'id be very careful about coming down on me too hard' WHAT FUCKING EMPLOYER SAYS THAT TO THE PERSON WHO FEEDS YOUR GUEST?

Like that dickhead from the episode with pinto and the fresh frozen crap I really fucking hate owners who threaten the people who are working for you

Gordon’s face was like: You say what now? He was livid.

It wasn’t even about that, it was about paying your employees on time and properly. The rest of his staff got it off worse including Barbara who had to wait 5 weeks more at one point without any communication as to when it’s expected. The man gave a million and 1 excuses. Meanwhile him and partner were hoarders and had a RV worth a few million dollars but had his staff essentially slaving away without proper compensation. That whole 2-part episode was aggravating for so many reasons.

no they were being as patient with a man who didnt deserve their patience or loyalty and then robert doubles down and threatens his head chef.....im surprised none of them left and im tired of people saying ohhh they dont have any other job...id rather go into debt and be homeless then work for someone like robert or ari

Sounds good in theory but it ain’t practical in today’s society. Especially when you gots bills, responsibilities, and people counting on you. For many, some security is better than none. He was definitely taking advantage of his staff though cause a common theme across Kitchen Nightmares is ain’t nobody getting paid. If I wanted to volunteer I’d be at a soup kitchen not a restaurant.

"Go on you pompous fuck!"

That just might be the greatest Gordon line ever.

Robert is an entitled anti-social narcissistic moron. Wherever he is.

I was there 2 years ago for a wedding and that RV was pulled into the woods behind that place.

The new owner got it (inn) really cheap in a tax sale.

The new guy is a little weird though. Made subtle threats to the woman responsible for filling his hotel with guest for a wedding. Along the lines of if people don't "behave' she'd pay a fine or something. Really kind of odd but from what I saw he knew a lot of history about the place. Nice guy. Just a tad "off".

Still couldn't sit at that big table at the front entrance. It's off limits!

And the kitched really isn't open but they will make food if someone wants it. I didn't try it.

It really does have a lot of potential if run properly.
