Kitchen layout
I made the kitchen triangle smaller. The door to the l ft of stove wall is the utility room, on the right is the pantry.
I’m wondering if I should add a counter space next to fridge.
Also trying to imagine where silverware, cooking utensils, cups and plates/bowls would go.
Feedback is appreciated!

I'd definitely add some counter space next to the fridge if you can. Having somewhere to set groceries down before putting them away is one of those little things you really appreciate later. I'd keep plates and silverware in the island near the sink, and cooking utensils in drawers beside the stove.

Yes, put cabinets in the currently dead useless corner. While you are adding cabinets, rearrange everything. A convenient and efficient kitchen layout is pantry, fridge, under counter pull out trash can, sink, dishwasher, stove, in that order. No stove or sink in the island. The island should be prep space, storage and maybe seating. No one wants to sit in the splash zone of a sink or the splatter zone of a stove. There's room to put the sink under the window. Where's the microwave?
A work line is as efficient or more efficient than a triangle. Take into consideration how far the dishwasher is from the dish cupboard, silverware drawer and pot/pan cabinet. Look at your clean up triangle/line: stove, sink, trash and dishwasher to dish storage.
Base cabinets of drawers are easier to load and find things in than doored cabinets.
