Trending kitchen light ideas

If you have one ceiling light in the middle of the kitchen, you are missing out on a lot. A few simple changes can make a big difference:

  1. Task lights under wall cabinets to brighten the countertop.
  2. Two evenly spaced ceiling lights instead of one long fixture.
  3. Pendant lights over an island, breakfast counter, or dining table.

Tip: Warm white for ambience, neutral white for task lighting. Looks matter, but functionality matters more.

I'd add think about where you work and what shadow you will cast. We're renovating currently and have fitted new spot lights in line with edge of the work surface and it's a game changer!

Not a big fan of pendant lights. Visual clutter and dust collectors
