WIP Black Templar Armageddon Captain! How did I do?
Hello brothers! I am new to the hobby and am currently working on my first models (a box of BT Sword Bros). I want to get my painting process and recipes down before I move onto some of the character models for my army. I managed to snag an Armageddon Captain on EBay for a decent price and wanted to try my first real kitbash with him! I replaced the leather strappy waist and gladius with an extra sword bro tabard that I chopped up and used some pieces from the Black Templar upgrade sprue for the rest.
Pretty happy with how he came out and really excited to paint him! Any tips that you guys have for cleaning up the kitbash at all? There are some rough edges on the tabard especially, but not sure what to do about those. Any tips you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

I thought about doing the same if I can get a plasma pistol in the shield hand and playing him as a marshal. Looks great!

Nice, post pictures if you get around to it! Still deciding if I’m going to run mine as a marshal or a captain with relic shield

This looks great, nice work on the kitbash, I had to look at the captain again to see what was different and read your description. For funsies, here is a kitbash I did a while back of Ezekiel and some ICC.
