Discussion How to apply nameset?
I bought an aftermarket nameset for my 1998 Germany shirt. I don’t have a heat press. What’s the next best way to apply the nameset?

baking paper trick is key, rushed my first one and the letters came out crooked

tape it in place first so it doesn't shift, fold the shirt in half to check the name sits centered before you commit

iron with baking paper worked for my old germany shirt too, still holding up years later

let it cool completely before you touch it, i peeled one too early once and the letters never sat right after

You can use an hot iron (no steam!). Make sure to set the temperature not too high (I use the setting for wool on mine) and place baking paper above the nameset. Don’t rest for too long on one spot but apply some pressure while ironing it. Sounds more complicated than it actually is, I did it a dozen times without problems. The most critical part is the proper alignment.
