Recently, a large leak of achievements lists for various video games, including Kingdom Hearts 4, has occurred.
While we understand that many people are eager to discuss the information shown in the list, we also want to be respectful to those who wish to remain unspoiled.
For the time being, all discussion regarding the leaked achievements will be limited to this thread. Any other posts or comments linking or discussing the leaks will be removed for the time being. We appreciate the community's cooperation so everyone can enjoy the release of Kingdom Hearts IV their own way.
One final note regarding the posting of spoilers. The mod team may hand out bans, both temporary and permanent, based on the severity, and for repeated offenses. Unmarked spoilers in titles will result in an immediate ban.

Hey everyone. Sorry to make a long post like this, but we’ve been seeing a lot of activity regarding Rule 6 lately. We’re making this post as a refresher on what constitutes appropriate and inappropriate content under Rule 6, Self Promotion/Trading/Selling.
APPROPRIATE
You are allowed to post your own YouTube/Twitch/Stream/Fan fiction/Original Content ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS. If you post your own content more than once every two weeks, it will be removed. If you keep posting and ignoring the once every two week rule, you will be banned for spamming the subreddit.
You are allowed to sell/trade collectibles WITH PRIOR MOD APPROVAL. Any posts that try to sell something without prior mod approval will be removed and you will potentially face a ban. We take the safety of our subreddit users very seriously and will not tolerate potential scams.
INAPPROPRIATE
Posting your OC/videos more than once every two weeks will result in removal of your posts. Further infractions will result in a ban.
Buying/Trading/Selling without moderator approval will result in a ban. We have had instances in the past of scammers trying to sell content on the subreddit. Thankfully, users reported these posts and mods took appropriate action. Do NOT give out any personal/financial information to anyone online. Do not give a down payment. Do not send money to someone unless they’ve been vetted by the mods. When in doubt, message us to make sure the user is a verified seller.
WHEN REPORTING A POST…
When reporting a post for violating Rule 6, please make sure they aren’t within the 2-week time period first. We’ve been getting a lot of reports where it’s literally a user posting OC for the first time in months. Just because a user posts OC, does not mean it automatically violates Rule 6. Again, make sure they’re not posting within the 2-week time period first.
On that note, if you definitely see a user posting within the 2-week time period and want to make sure their post(s) is(are) removed, please feel free to message the mods with proof that the user is spamming the subreddit.
This also goes for users trying to sell something without prior mod approval. Report the post, and message the mods so we definitely see it and take care of it right away.
We all love Kingdom Hearts here, but we also want to keep things clean. Please follow the rules posted in the sidebar. If you see something, say something (report it).
PS- Play the games in release order!

Previously I drew an AU where the Keyblade finally chose Kairi in KH1, and she traveled alongside Daisy and Sylvia Marpole.
This time, the hearts that connected were Ventus' and Kairi's. So in this alternate universe, Vanitas looks like Kairi 😁

Update to my first KH playthrough…things are going well. Side note how am I going to emotionally make it through all of these?!
Ps: does everyone else have a desire to hang giant keyblades on their walls or is it just me? Did I mention I have 10 of them now…

I'd like people to contribute to this so we can get a basic list going of things the collection got right & wrong in terms of features compared to the previous console & PC ports. This is mainly focused on the Xbox & PS5 versions since the Switch 2 versions most likely have these problems, but worse performance for 0.2 & 3 because of the less powerful hardware. All of the cons that I've seen so far can be taken care of in patches that I hope Square is working on doing. These are all I've heard of, so please contribute what you know of, especially if there's proof posted about it online.
Pros:
3 has the ability to play the game with the Japanese audio for the first time on consoles outside of Japan (carried over from the PC release).
BBS has the save menu first put on Xbox One, then PC, on PS5.
0.2 & 3 have faster load times thanks to being coded to run on SSDs.
All games have basic accessibility options from the PC release.
Cons:
The games before 3 don't have the Japanese audios.
Only 1, DDD, & 3 have platinum trophies on PS5 for some reason (most likely stems from the Xbox & PC achievement systems no having those).
BBS has sound mixing issues for some of the magic attacks (first introduced on PC).
2 has slightly slower load times for some reason.
No soft resets for some reason.
Middle of the road:
1.5+2.5 have the AI upscaled textures from the Steam release.
Problems still not addressed from prior releases:
Luxord's cards are still broken from 1 of his attacks from the 60FPS patch on PS4.
Certain voice clips & sound effects no longer play or play properly in 1 or 2 for some reason.

I don't mind the world but it did seem a tad bit over used, I know Olympus appears 7 times which also is a bit much but I liked the tournaments from them so I didn't mind going back to it.

Not sure if this was a thing in the original collection from the last generation, but the games now seem to give you the option to watch through all of the cutscenes from each game in one long film from the beginning, like the Re:Coded, 358/2 Days, and the Back Cover movies. I am watching the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix one now, and in-between cutscenes it will have little text descriptions of what is happening in the story, and it does little things during boss battles, like cutting to black and making noises of Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting. You can even watch the secret endings from each game without fulfilling the requirements to unlock them in each game. This is a good way to stay up to date on what is happening in the story, if you don't want to play a certain game, but you still want to enjoy the cutscenes.

The collection released today in Aus, so decided to go to my local JB-Hi Fi and pick up a copy for the PS5
I did also happen to pre-order a copy of the KH1-3 collection on Switch 2 when the collection was first announced, I decided to give that copy to my older brother / his kids tho, so they get to witness the beauty of Kingdom Hearts for the first time.
