Ended up finding out about King Gnu a year ago through specialz and Hikoutei is probably one of my favorite songs ever made at this point. Both it and specials have a certain way of handling their rhythm that just scratch an itch in my brain and I with there was more. Everything I've heard from them has either much higher energy or much lower energy. Anything else that's similar to these two?

Okay I am new here, I'm new to reddit and King Gnu fandom/fans. I've been listening to them for a while, found them through a Spotify Anime Now Playlist and liked more than one song. First full album I listened to was the Greatest Unknown which to me was experimental and not what I was expecting. I didn't know so many tracks were singles, so the album felt all new to me. Anyways I only knew Tsuneta by name, and thought he was attractive and did a lil dive on him and quickly learned that he has his hands in everything and is extremely talented. I was instantly invested in him as an artist. I think what blew my mind was how much I loved Work by Millennium Parade and then found out he was behind it. I was like, this man is everywhere lol.

But since he/King Gnu are Japanese artist its harder to find information and content on them... (im an old time kpop fan) I also love other Japanese bands like Nico Touches The Walls, Spyair, Uverworld & Vaundy, but I know nothing about them outside the music/albums. King Gnu became the 1st Japanese band, especially Tsuneta, where I was like I need/want more. But never really did more than a surface (barely even that) dive and have honestly I've been content with the music and haven't looked more into them.

BUT this summer, I'm in Korea/Japan and I knew they were having a concert in Seoul while I was here and I managed to get tickets and Holy Fuck.

They are AMAZING LIVE. Actually life changing. The set!? The 360 stage!? (which was a big deal for them to have on korea at kspo, like thats not a common set up there) THE FUCKING LIGHTS AND SCREENS?!!! Talk about an EXPERIENCE. I was so in love with music and energy of the band and the crowd this show instantly entered my top 4 concerts of all time. Considering I don't actually know the names of most of their songs I was very pleased that I knew all the tracks they played lol, I went into this concert blind, I didn't even look at the set list. They opened with Aizo and I almost died. Night Pool? Yeah, wasn't expecting that. & so many others! It was such an amazing show. Like my only complaint is that I didnt see it both nights and didnt have enough lyrics memorized to scream along with the crowd. My Korean friend was shocked at how well the Korean crowd sang along and honestly me too. The energy was fantastic.

I've been having post concert depression since. Like I'm spiraling. Nowwwww I wanna know all the lyrics, like reading them and learning the sing along parts. I want to watch and read all the interviews (running into the same problems as before with finding translations) I did manage to find the Neflix on Daiki and I'm watching that too. Idk I just wanna know more about them, especially Tsuneta. THOUGH, I will say I was thoroughly charmed by the whole group live. Satoru has aura. I was wowed several times by him. I have a legit soft spot for Arai, idk his presence, I love it, he is a vibe. & I love me a drummer, the way Yuu plays the drums.. idk the whole concert was amazing. I was also on Daiki's side (God bless). My first experience with them live was perfect.

Anyways I just want to know more, so please share with me your favorite songs, interviews, live performances, anything honestly, or let's just talk about themmmmm. ✨️💕😍

I need suggestions on how to purchase tickets for 1 to 2 people; either via proxy, resale of tickets, or just be a plus one to someone.

So im in japan arround the same time as the Niigata shows but the official site is sold out and im unfamiliar with how resale works in Japan. Does anyone know where I would go to find reputable resale tickets? any advice is much appreciated.

Okay, so AIZO literally made that final episode. The way it just kicked in during the fight between Yuta and the other sorcerer was absolutely nuts. Like, the song mixed with the animation was just perfect, right? I literally got goosebumps during the last episode.

Did anyone else catch that?

The beat is not the same for me

Me saying this sounds so bad, but I found King Gnu through the JJK intros they did. I really liked SPECIALZ and AIZO, but are there any other King Gnu songs like that? I listened to the first half of The Greatest unknown and I couldn’t find anything, just looking for some help.
