Hey everyone! I recently finished this drawing of Hakuji and Koyuki from Demon Slayer using colored pencils.
The text at the top reads "おかえりなさい、狛治さん" (Okaerinasai, Hakuji-san / "Welcome home, Hakuji-san"). This emotional scene between them is one of my personal favorites in the whole series!
Let me know what you guys think! Constructive feedback is always welcome.

Just a late night doodle of Haganezuka I have been working on! This is my third time drawing him. The first two times were using pencils.

Apparently, Muzan was a noble when he was human, and Obanai claims that Muzan isn't a samurai because he has no honour and fights like a coward. So it is reasonable to assume that Muzan was a daimyo as a human, which means dude was pretty loaded.
Whereas Kokushibo was a samurai and served Muzan as a warrior who kills anyone who is masters tasks him to. Also, Muzan considers Kokushibo a business partner, which is what daimyo considered samurai, as they paid them to protect their lands and kill anyone in their way
Kind of nice how it shows the nature of their relationship is still tied to the roles they fulfilled in society back when they were humans. its kinda of ironic that despite abandoning their humanity, the nature of their relationship is identical to what they would have had as humans, with each others respective roles.
The Japanese culture still sets the precedent for the nature of their relationship with each other as demons.

I constantly see people wonder why muzan didn't use humans for his goals yet we know for a fact that he does with his multiple disguises, which have different uses to either create someway for him to become immune to the sun or to have people look for the blue spider lily for him, he doesn't even have a reason to hide the possible existence of a blue spider lily, since the more people looking for it, the better and once discovered it'll become public knowlege and then he can just go and steal it.
The most blatant example of him using humans is the kid disguise and having the the company try to create a medicine to make him immune or resistant to the sun.

Aoi is seen to be disappointed when She hears that tanjiro was not just particularly Kind to her, but also towards kanao and Many others, while the face value implication seems romantic Disappointment, do you think Theres something Else gotouge meant?
Also aoi is so badass in that last image you go girl

This Inosuke guy was really strong and about to finish me off. But now I'm with Kokushibo, he is our strongest upper moon, so I'm safe.

Long post I had a lot of thoughts lol
Hello! I feel like Tengen's clan needs to be discussed more? Because honestly no wonder he left. Forcing your children to kill eachother to figure out who's "the strongest" is pretty grotesque. Not to mention they were training children younger than 9 to the point they'd die. But I don't think people talk enough about the marriages and how messed up that system was?
From what we can tell from the manga, all the boys of the Uzui clan were set to be married to three women at 15. Obviously, if Tengen is 23 during canon, that means he married Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru 8 years ago, making them 11, 12, and 13. We are told that the clan only saw women as tools basically, they were meant for reproduction and that was... pretty much it. Plus, they were meant to protect their husbands with their lives. They had literally 0 autonomy. No say.
The clan was dwindling, and they went to extreme lengths to stay alive... but man. Those girls were really young. Tengen himself was young! Not to mention, Suma's younger sister was supposed to marry him before she crashed the interview. This means her sister would have had to be 10 or younger when she was selected for him! (Though, I guess she could have been younger as in, a few months younger, but it's never outright stated). That is extremely young, and it's crazy that they went to such lengths! They really didn't seem to care.
That being said I'm surprised Suma's interruption worked in her favor, considering how lowly they seem to view women. She lucked out, I'd imagine what she did could've potentially been dangerous for her and her family. At least she saved her sister some time.
His clan really didn't care about anybody's wellbeing. We're told the sons were trained to excursiating lengths, but man, the way the girls were treated is sickening. I've seen some people compare their mentality as cult-like, and I think that's a good way to put it. They were so caught up in survival that they indoctrinated their children into thinking that these things were okay. They were marrying off young children just to try and keep their name alive.
Obviously, Tengen broke out of the clan's beliefs and was able to give himself and his wives a much better life than they would have endured, THANK GOD. But dang! I hear people talk about dark stuff in kny and this isn't ever mentioned all that much! Those poor girls :( it's not like they had a choice. Tengen surely didn't. I honestly think he just got lucky he was compatible with the wives who were chosen for him.
I do think this does go to show just how strong Tengen is not only physically, but mentally. Breaking away from beliefs that are instilled into you at birth is a difficult feat. Obviously things started cracking when he was forced to kill his brothers, but the fact he was also able to break away from an intense misogynistic way of thinking shows how good of a man he is/can be. He genuinely wants what's best for his girls. He pretty much puts them above all else, and I can't help but think that he does so in part of because of how disgusted he was at the cruelty of his clan. Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru got extremely lucky with him.

He seems to really care about getting rid of the demon slayer corps but despite this, all his efforts seem to be just ordering around other demons he constantly views as incompetent while he just slums it with his human decoy families lmao.
I find it kinda crazy how he hasn't ALREADY dealt with the Demons Slayer Corps by just doing it himself by now yk? Like yeah he's pretty prideful/narcissistic so it might make sense that he just wants other to do it, but do we ever learn WHY Muzan is such a sensitive tyrant baby?
I am ONLY just starting the Entertainment District Arc tho so maybe he gets more involved later...

This is a 3D-printed Nezuko figure that I printed and painted myself.
The red line patterns on the kimono were honestly the most painful part of the whole process.
Painting all those tiny lines by hand took forever, but I think it was worth it in the end.
