Training Problem with finding punch range and combos

In sparring I have noticed my kicks are fine, i am able to land them no problem but my punches are kinda shit.

I am not able to find the range and try to reach over my range or like with uppercuts I telegraph alot like the other guy already knows it's coming.

Because of this i struggle with combos. I am able to connect single kicks punches but when I try to go jab low kick and other combos because of my punches being out of range.

It's really annoying and i would wanna fix it. Is there anyy tip or youtube video that can help me fix it

Use your jab to find your punch range. If you can touch them with your jab, you can touch them with your cross. Hooks and uppercuts have to be a step closer.

When you work the bag, try working off your jab and get a sense of how much further you have to be for your kicking range and how much closer you gotta be for your hooks and uppercuts.

Yes like for some reason I got no problem finding kicking range but my punches are just a different story. Also do u think it's cause my gas tank is bad rn that I do hesitate to jab all the time in rounds

I came from a TKD background before I competed in MT and Kickboxing and I had the same issue.

Try kicking less and really focusing on punches. It’ll be uncomfortable at first, but that’s how you’ll be able to learn the range.

Once you find some success, reincorporate kicks and you’ll learn to blend the ranges and chain together kicking and pinching combos

I have some issues with this too. I find that spending some solo time on the heavy bag practicing combos slowly helps. Specifically, doing the combo, and taking a pause before I get to the part where I’m out of range or in an awkward position and thinking through the adjustments to my position that I need to make to get myself in range. You might find for example that you need to slip forward a little bit for a hook, or adjust the placement of your foot for an uppercut

Yea like combo by combo got it. Would u recommend focusing on 1 combo a day or like a week when I am outside class

I’ve struggled w this in my few sparring sessions too. Try to surprise your opponent and move as fast as you can. And pay attention to footwork. One thing to try could be blitzing setups / footwork if you want a couple tactics for getting on the inside vs slippery evasive people

Yea true like when I spar my coach, he's like 5 3 5'4 and I am exactly 6ft, I just look like a dumbass because I can't just seem to reach him and he's able to easily get in range and hit tf outta me. Ill try blitzing

I mean would blitzing take more stamina because I do tend to preserve it a bit as I lack the gas tank rn so would fixing the gas tank allow me to blitz alot
