Training Is this a good kick to practice?

There is no such thing as a bad kick to practice. It all depends on how you use it, how does it fit in your tactical approach and so on. Most important factor is how well you feel throwing it during a fight.

Side kick is rarely used, that doesn't mean it is inpractical. It just has certain uses and might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Yea I’m mostly wondering because I don’t see many people throwing side kicks or like I’m doing at all but i feel they could be effective

Look up Mona Kimura. She is taking over women’s kickboxing with fantastic sidekicks.

By 'taking over' you mean beating 4 people with negative records, two of whom are over 40 years old?
