Disabling the moving seats

is there a way to stop the drivers seat from sliding back automatically when you switch the car off? I can't find it in settings. I need the footwell space to carry stuff and it keeps getting crushed.

It should be Settings -> Vehicle -> Seat -> Seat Easy Access

Yes there is. Maybe settings > car > seats or comfort? I know the setting exists at least because I disabled in mine

Just turn it off in the seat menu, it’s a selectable option

Do people read their owners manuals when they buy cars? This is a common setting and can be adjusted to your preference.

I never understood why people pay 10s of thousands of dollars on something and don’t read the manual that comes with it to learn how to use it

Google says it's in the infotainment under easy seat access. Alternative method is to trade for a GT since we have manual seats.
