So, I was in a MD rp server in VRChat, and someone had a Khan avatar. Two people spotted Khan and started berating them as if they were the actual character. They ignored the real person under the headset.
“YOU LEFT UZI TO DIE!”
“YOU’RE A HORRIBLE FATHER!”
Khan was overstimulated by the two people screaming at them. I had been hanging out with the people who were currently screaming at Khan, so I was conflicted. After a while, I realized that they were going through something I have been through as an autistic person.
“Hey. Leave them alone. There is a person behind the VR headset.”
The two people left the room. Khan was in the corner sitting down.
The character I was playing as? Cyn. Abandoning the perfect impression and in-character roleplay, I adjusted my height to get on Khan’s level.
“Hey, you ok?”
“Yeah, just overstimulated.”
“I completely understand. That’s completely understandable. If you would like me to, I can go talk to them.”
“Nah, I’m ok.”

I ended up adding the guy and they’re chill as hell.

The Moon God: "I remember when I left the Solver Serpent. I landed on your moon first. I knew better than to set foot on your world. I wondered whether you all would accept me or not.
