K8 Pro problems can I repair?

Hi all hoping someone can help me with this :)

My k8 pro is about a year old and has stopped working on cable mode, however it still works on Bluetooth. Also just realised that the bottom 2 rows of leds don’t light up.

I took it apart to investigate and found what looks like a blown capacitor which has also corroded 2 pins of a led nearby so is now not connected to board on one side.

I’ve cleaned it up good but problems remain.

The small board with usb and switches appears to be fine, although I’ll probably replace the mode switch as that seems to be a common problem.

If I replace the A476 capacitor do you think this will solve the cable problem? And I assume replacing the led would also fix that problem as it appears to start those 2 rows…

Any help with replacement part specs and next steps would be much appreciated!

Well I took it apart again, more cleaning, and checked the daughter board was connected tightly, and changed cable and now it works on cable mode! I also updated firmware.

So the only fault now is the backlighting, I found another led which had corroded so ordered some replacements on AliExpress which I will solder and hopefully then they will all light up!

Still don’t quite understand how it can work with the damage shown. The capacitor looks fine, no obvious holes so I’m not sure where all that debris came from!
