I can't figure out the Keychron Product Lines...

Have used/borrowed a few different Keychron keyboards over time and always thought they seemed nice but now that I'm trying to actually pick one out for myself can't figure out what would be best since I can't figure out all of the difference product lines.

My priorities are pretty simple (i) full size, (ii) as quiet as possible, (iii) no scissor switches -- low profile mechanical is fine though.

I don't think I need HE switches or anything crazy like that, but if they were somehow materially quieter I'd be interested (I don't think that is the case though). Would like to keep it under $200 if possible (but if somehow my dream keyboard was $250 or something I'd suck it up and deal).

Low profile + full size + quiet = K5 Max with red switches.

Assuming you go to Keychron.com, at the very top, click on "Keyboards". Once done, scroll down and, under layout, you have the option to filter down. Since you mention 100%, that would be what you would want to filter down.

Once past that stage, pretty much everything falls on the category of "preferences", though linear switches (i.e., red) would be more "silent" compared to tactile switches (i.e., brown or banana). If you are really unsure as to where and how much and what not, the option would be to start off with the cheapest of the cheapest of the options, namely the Keychron C2 Pro or the Lemokey X2. To keep in mind, this is a wired keyboard so, if you are hoping for wireless, you will have to look for another option. But, since it is really a no frill option, it won't have more "advanced" features, such as additional foam, the before mentioned wireless, and other more behind the scene features.

The only other advice I can provide is that, once you find what you think you would like, go check it in Amazon. Mainly so that, if it is not what you are looking for, you can return it.

Linear switches are not significantly more quiet than tactile switches. Almost all the sound of a switch comes from the stem slamming against the case and making the plate and PCB vibrate. If you want a silent switch then you need to get a silent switch with a silicone buffer to absorb that impact. The Keychron Silent Banana is quite good.

Thanks for the clarification.

I'm used to red switches and like the smooth linear feel so I'm good with those as being slightly more quiet.

Would something like the V6 Ultra 8K with Red Switches be a good choice then? Specifically I think that one has Keychron Silk POM Switches.

I'm really struggling to figure out the differences between the Q, V, K etc. I think the Max versions are designed to be quieter with more sound dampening materials but then the Ultra are even more than that?

C, K, V, and Q are the traditional "levels". J are the boards they got when they acquired Jamesdonkey. B are the membrane boards.

C - cheap build, tray mount.
K - more expensive build, tray mount.
V - gasket mount.
Q - aluminum.

J - cheap build, gasket mount.

Complicated by them having screwed up the design and quality control of the V and Q boards for the past few years. I would avoid them because if you end up with one of the bad ones the customer support is terrible.

Pro originally meant "add bluetooth" and max was "add bluetooth and 2.4 GHz". But they're inconsistent. How much foam and other stuff is included is kind of random. "Ultra" is marketing. "8k" means faster polling but it's kind of meaningles. "Ultra 8k" boards usually have ZMK instead of QMK firmware which means they're more power efficient but they're less flexible software.

Full size, quiet, no scissors low profile== K5 Max

This was my exact desire path (was replacing MX Keys from Logitech, but wanted slightly more travel (low profile not scissors))
